I've been four times in the past 18 months - all on Groupon offers. The 'taster' menu - six courses, has been great and we've had that three times - the variety of flavours and quality of the food has been great each time - the service has ranged from fantastic (first time), good (second time) and average on the... voucher purchased via travelzoo. Same experience as the above lady. However I did contact travelzoo soon after and they were kind enough to send a voucher to go towards another outing. It wasn't for the full amount but it was a nice gesture and it transpired during emails that they had been misled by the restaurant too.

I purchased a voucher via Travelzoo for a chateaubriand dinner for two with champagne. The expiry date of the voucher was the 31st October 2012. I booked a table by telephone for the 30th October a couple of days before I was due to go. On the actual day itself I received a phone call from the restaurant to say... More

Decided to try this after seeing good recommendations about it. Went on a Monday early evening so was quiet. 3 tables (including us) when we started and only us when we finished. The greeter was very polite and showed us quickly to our table. The waitress we had at the start of the meal was friendly and knowledgeable about the... More

I had high expectations of this place, but i was rather underwhelmed, the staff didnt seem to now what they were doing and it was expensive. Great view though

I bought a groupon (£14) for afternoon tea for two people. I went with my best friend as it was an early birthday present for him and was really looking forward to it but it was not good at all. The sandwiches were really terrible, 3 small triangles of bread, all rough edged with barely any filling. It was like... More

We were a party of over 20 and we were in a room on our own. There was another party on the floor above us which obviously took preference! Despite having had all our choices for some weeks the meals all came at different times some in the party got no food at all!! There was about an hour between... More

I purchased a groupon voucher for afternoon tea which i planned to use with a friend visiting from scotland on 15th september 2012. Made the booking for 3pm a week in advance and turned up to a closed restaurant with a sign stating that their 'sister' restaurant was taking their bookings as vertigo was closed for refurbishment and a phone... To say I was disappointed with Vertigo is an understatement! Our monthly "Date Night" took us this time round to Vertigo, after hearing good things about it we were really looking forward to our meal. After walking in the cold we were greeted by a nice lady who took us to our table upstairs. Our table was in the corner... More

We ate here on a Friday night using a Travelzoo offer for Chateaubriand for two. Upon arrival the front door was broken (these things do happen) and the replacement was not sufficient to keep out the cold. As our table wasn't ready we had to wait in the bar area next to the entrance for 40 minutes We were so... More
