My hubby and I called in here for Breakfast one Saturday morning. The breakfast was average, at best, and at £7.95 it was expensive for what we were served. Good - two fried eggs; coffee with hot milk (demerara sugar would have been nice with coffee rather than white sugar); Not good - only one hash brown, bacon poor quality,... More

Once again we had a fantastic breakfast with superb pork and leek sausages in our favourite restaurant underneath House of Fraser. The service was prompt the staff were friendly. Orange juice freshly squeezed and a perfect pot of Breakfast tea. Thank you Cicchetti once again, we will be back next time were staying in Manchester

I have heard about this restaurant from a friend so me and my girlfriend went there for a meal last night. The food was very delicious couldn't fault it. All dishes were 10-15 and tiny tapas plates for full plate prices. Gnocchi: tasteless not seasoned and wrong texture. Lamb chops special: under seasoned undercooked and not very special. Steak special: cooked well under seasoned not very special either. Monkfish&prawn skewer: Two of the most cooked chewy prawns I have ever eaten and two well cocked peices of monkfish no... More

First things first, my partner and I love the evening atmosphere (yes, including the rude waiters), menu and quality of the food usually experienced and expected at Cicchetti. Breakfast however was a disappointment. The food was cold. These things happen... And it happened again. Following the first complaint, another breakfast was rolled out and was at best described as 'tepid'.... More

Ate here on a Sunday morning with my son, he has Bacon Sandwich (on lovely oven bottom muffin) and I had Eggs Benedict, which was very nice. The coffee was also very good. My one criticism would be that for £3.00 I'd expect the Orange juice to be freshly squeezed, not concentrate out of a bottle. That was the only... More

We usually eat In San Carlos but have been put off lately for various reasons. Tried this out before a concert and loved it. But like Italian tapas and the food was excellent. Service was good and loved the restaurant decor. Would recommend a visit-,we loved it!

San Carlo Cicchetti on Bridge Street, Manchester is attached to Kendals (House of Fraser) Store on Deansgate. The menu is fairly short yet very appetising. Dishes are small and designed for sharing or to be eaten by one person, a little like the Italian version of Tapas. The restaurant is buzzing (we ate at lunch time Saturday) and has a... More

Lovely and delicious finger food. Incase you don't know, it's small Plates of good food. So when they offer more and more, it's because it's served in small portions! Love the authentic atmosphere and amazing food!

My wife and I were taken to San Carlo Cicchetti in Manchester last night by friends. They had been several times, this was our first visit. There was a short wait for the table, so we sat at the bar and started a bottle of wine. I asked the head barman for his recommendations for red wine for the meal,... More
