We visited this restaurant as a group of 8 of us on a busy Friday night and were not left disappointed. Everyone had delicious food which came in good time and reasonably priced. Nice mix of traditional curries for different preferences. I would definitely go again.

Terrible staff, even after we'd been waiting an hour and a half no one came over to apologise/tell us it was going to be longer (there were only the two of us) after another half an hour and several hints to the waiter serving the opposite table, the food finally arrived... The naan bread was wet it had been microwaved... More

Delicious food - we had the fish tikka to start which was huge fresh chunks of cod with the tastiest spicy marinade on it. No greasy batter, just lovely, with some fresh salad. Then I had king prawn rogan josh, thought at first that only 3 prawns wasn't very many for the price, but they're so huge they're about 5... More

The decor is great and the staff are very attentive without being intrusive. The menu is excellent but the food does not seem to be of the same standard as the branch near Chorlton cemetery.

For the past few years, my family and I have travelled around the Manchester area searching for the best Indian restaurant and at long last, I believe I have definitely found a contender. I had read great things on the website, however upon arrival, the customer service was exceptional, with very friendly waiters and a thoroughly knowledgeable Manager all providing... More

This is the second time we have eaten here and the quality and quantity were just as good. The biryani was just the way we like it and the prawns were massive and tasted fantastic. We live abroad and don't get to Manchester often but when we do this is the one place we will definitely go to.

Very poor, no natural spice flavouring in the naga dish just heaps of curry powder leading to that twisted gut feeling today, my mates didn't like theirs either, Just flat out bad cookery wish we'd made the effort to go to great katmandu or mugli, or the mughal in sale. All way better than this place.

Everything you order here is NOT like your bog standard Indian/South Asian restaurant fare. The menu is fascinating and original. Just reading it makes your mouth water. When the food arrives - you could be fooled into thinking it's home cooked. Always busy. Great value. Among the best I've known.

Nice atmosphere with a nice blend of food on offer. The home style lamb (with aubergines) was delicious. The poppadoms sauces were novel and so was the house rice.

Why has it become acceptable "the norm" to have bad guts after a curry? I often make curries from scratch and not once have I had stomach ache the following day. This was my third visit to Coriander, and the third disappointment! I have a feeling that the same pot of curry sauce is bubbling in the kitchen and re-heated... More
