Style over substance - very over rated.

Dined here for the second time so as to offer a chance at redemption after going away underwhelmed the first time. Alas my opinion remains unchanged. The food is fairly bland & overpriced with the meats in curries being dry and overcooked. The staff are friendly enough but the service is... read more

We visited Mughli on 28th Feb 2015, despite arriving 30 minutes late for our table the staff were brilliant and got a table organised for us in minutes (on a Saturday night!) - the restaurant was very busy, service was very good, food was lovely, the authentic smoky BBQ flavour of some of the starters we had was really nice,... A friend and I wanted to eat at a decent restaurant and we were willing to pay a little more than we usually do. We ended up at mughli's because it looked really nice and it was pretty crowded. We figured it must've been good. The food was really good, some of the best curries I have ever eating. But... More

15 of us went to Mughli after many years of not having been to a Rusholme restaurant, after checking out trip advisor reviews, and it certainly lived up to its excellent reviews. It was a family meal and the age range of our party was 3 years to 73 years old and the restaurant catered for all ages. The food... More

Lovely meal, great service, would definitely return again! The staff were all extremely friendly and attentive (even though it was a Friday night and very busy!). The food arrived quickly and was all extremely flavoursome! Not your typical curry, but that's what I loved most about it. Also really nicely decorated inside and out!

found this by default, after many years away from rusholme brought the family back to eat at one of the old haunts only to find it gone. When walking up and down the curry mile saw this restaurant as looking a little different. Was so pleased we did, restaurant packed but they found us a table without fuss, much more... More

Lovely meal - fresh ingredients, beautifully presented meal. Service a bit slow but it was nice not to be rushed. Added bonus of a discount for NHS staff.

Fancied a curry on spur of the moment with partner and my two ten year old's and having not dined in the curry mile for some time we took a walk up and down the strip and decided we liked the look of this place. Not disappointed the food was superb and the atmosphere was good and quite busy early... More

Great food and service in a lovely modern restaurant, great value too. Lots of different meals to choose from on the menu. We would definitely return when next in Manchester.
