Great Dinner

We wanted a good curry after work, not really knowing where we wanted to go... So we walked along the Curry Mile and found Mughli - using Trip Advisor to help! Lol. Great restaurant with a good atmosphere. Food excellent - a bit different from standard UK restaurant menu. Starters freshly cooked and very tasty. I had 3 dinners in Manchester over weekend, and this was the best and the cheapest!

Reviewed Mid March 2015, a busy Friday night at 7 pm. Only one visit conducted, which isn't enough to really review a restaurant. Who is reviewing: I've eaten in a few of the best Indian restaurants in the UK and Singapore, so I'm not an expert, but I have eaten at a standard above the usual. Mughli is good, but... More

Went recently to the curry mile as not been for agers and tried here. We were sat down straight away and food was quick and fresh even though there were parties in. Not the cheapest but will definitely be back again soon on next months date night. Ps try the Peters bread

We pre booked this restaurant for a significant anniversary on the basis this was a special place. The starters were good but the main courses were awful. In fact probably the blandest sickliest Indian food I have experienced in many years. Book somewhere different/avoid if you love decent Indian food.

We were told the Mughli currently has the reputation of the best curry house on the Curry Mile (believe me there are LOTS of curry houses nearby), and it did not disappoint. Be sure to book in advance; there were only early or late slots left when we booked on a Saturday morning for that evening. We were expecting to... More

My partner and I went to Mughli yesterday afternoon at about 2.30pm. I have always been a huge fan of Mughli and always recommend the venue to all my friends and colleagues. The service yesterday was particularly bad. There was a chinese lady who was very good who seemed to be serving most of the tables and a young man... More

I had serious doubts that this place would be as good as people claimed it to be but it really is. The atmosphere is funky, the staff are all friendly and helpful (except for one older gentleman who was a bit abrupt when taking orders) and the food is tasty. People were literally queuing outside to get it in so... More

We have been to Mughli 5 or 6 times now and have always really enjoyed our meals. The staff are friendly and will recommend which rice or bread to compliment your meal. The food is well cooked and very flavoursome and reasonably priced. They have their own draught beer with goes down well with your curry. I would recommend this... More

Dined here for the second time so as to offer a chance at redemption after going away underwhelmed the first time. Alas my opinion remains unchanged. The food is fairly bland & overpriced with the meats in curries being dry and overcooked. The staff are friendly enough but the service is very slow and unattentative, I had to ask for... More
