Excellent Food

Always visit Mughli in Manchester, decided to take my wife, 2 elder children and my six year old. My eldest daughter is a vegetarian, and the menu and staff were great, my youngest can sometimes be a bit picky however when the children's chicken and chips arrived she was more than happy, especially... read more

At last, a trip down the legendary "Curry Mile"; we picked the mightily highly recommended Mughli and were full of anticipation as we took our seats. The place was busy, but not packed, had a great atmosphere and our view of the chefs busily working away heightened the effect. I noted the regiments of eager young waiting staff so was... More

Booked for 12 friends as it came highly recommend from colleagues. It did not disappoint. Food was excellent and the service was spot on, very attentive without being too overbearing. Portions were big, price was right and there was a great vibe in the place. Will be going back very soon.

I found that there was some things I liked and other things I disliked. Firstly I ordered one of their mocktails which was £5 although it tasted nice the price was disappointing for the drink portion size. Secondly ordered the papri chaat it tasted nice there was a good balance of sweetness and sourness however the tamarind sauce tasted shop... More

Appealing restaurant from the outside, with the theme being Indian street food/railway cafe. Nice atmosphere with Indian themed posters/memorabilia adding an air of authenticity. However, the chairs were well worn and somewhat tatty and could all do with replacing. This may, of course, be an attempt at enhancing authenticity! Very polite, pleasant and attentive waiters/waitresses. Now to the food -... More

This restaurant came highly recommended and did not disappoint. We visited on a Friday evening and it was very busy, luckily we had booked. The food was excellent and service was very attentive and there was a really good atmosphere which we particularly enjoyed. Will definitely return when we are next in Manchester.

Have been here several times and am always delighted with the service and delicious food. Last time we went it was pretty busy and there were some rowdy crowds but cannot blame the restaurant for that. They were very efficient and, as usual, the food exceeded expectations.

The service was good, atmosphere was buzzing. I really enjoyed the food, the buttered chicken was great, the Lamb biryani was wonderful. The Mango Lassi was really good. We had a wonderful meal

Came here in 2014 between Christmas and New year and although the food was fantastic, the service was pretty poor, with drink orders etc never arriving. We however, decided to give it another go this year (2015) and I am happy to say the service now matches the quality of the food so well done to the staff! Restaurant was... More

I have eaten here many times over the last couple of years. I live 300 miles away and wish this restaurant was next door to my house! The menu is authentic and varied, the Railway Curry is the best curry I have ever tasted, (and I have travelled in India).
