Lively and tasty

There was a good atmosphere on a Friday night, which suited the mood for four male friends. The bottled (micro-brewery) beer was excellent, the curries were tasty and slightly better than average, in our opinion. The rice was served in copper coloured pots, which was mildly pleasing. Great curry house on the famous Manchester Curry Mile. Very good staff, menu with loads of dishies I've not heard or experience before. Good value and great atmosphere.

I always wanted to have a curry on curry mile and looked at reviews on this website and shortlisted Mughli (No 30 Wilmslow Rd) and Lahore (No 18). We got a bus from the city centre for £1 each way. Apparently any bus starting with 4 goes there. When you get off it's like being in another world and we... More

Visited Mughli following a typical long day at work with a group of friends. Was my first visit and I have to say it was enjoyable. The place itself is amazing, authentic Indian atmosphere. Enjoyed the food which I have to say is was the best Indian Cuisine I tired in a while. Overall was a wonderful experience, worth trying... More

We went here yesterday. The place is surprisingly quite small and compact but the customer service made up for that. For the first time ever, I tried butter chicken and I loved it. I will definitely be returning just for that curry. I also had the king prawns as starters, which were really nice - but no where near as... More

Being a Indian and a curry fan I know my curries orderered a takeaway lamb spinach curry, would describe the curry in taste as below average nothing special at all, in fact it was so disappointing that I had to get another the next day as my curry satisfaction did not suffice on this occasion. If your in Manchester personally... More

My son keeps taking me to the curry mile but we keep ending up in the Mughli. Always busy and I can see why. The best Indian food and tastes that I have had outside India. Great service and atmosphere too.

We visit regularly and like the food here. The menu is interesting and different to the standard curry offerings. The vibe is that of a Bombay cafe with a nice feel to it. Our kebabs and mains were quite good as usual and for the most part, we enjoyed it. The rather disconcerting issue is of a male manager? Encouraging... More

We thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The haddock in the fried fish starter was top quality and the spices used were so tasty. What a great introduction. The chicken pakora and the Chenai curry were also outstanding. We came early on Sunday night without a booking but it was soon full, so I will definitely book next time. Service was very... More

Good food and service with a discount for students. Always enjoy it here. More interesting than some of the other curry places in rusholme.
