We had been to the food fight in manchester a few weeks ago and tried some food from the Mughli stand. We were really impressed so decided to book in at the restaurant. The starters were lovely, always the best bit! Somebody had king prawns off the charcoal grill and two massive prawns came, they were delicious! The mixed grill... More

I've visited this restaurant numerous times and it never fails to disappoint. It's definitely my favourite Indian restaurant in the city. It has good portion sizes, reasonable prices and excellent food. The fresh juices are a must-try, as is any of the paneer dishes.

Always in search of that understated hidden gem, and after much pain staking research, I decided to give Mughli's in Rusholme, Manchester a try. The much famed Curry Mile is full of mediocre eating establishments, thriving on feeding the easliy pleased, alcohol fuelled clientele. I'm glad to say that Mughli's stands out for the best of reasons. Their food, decor... More

I used to think that all Indian restaurants on the Curry Mile were the same - then I came here and my whole perception changed! The food is fresh, delicious and of a good portion size. The menu boasts a good range of dishes, some of which can't easily be found at other restaurants. Mughli's also serves the best sweet... More

Really good fresh tasting food. Each dish is individually flavoured with different herbs and spices. Interesting and different menu too. Only criticism is they rush customers in and out - I think they over book!

I have seen good reviews on this restaurant and thought I would try it for a change - having got used to real Asian cuisine living / working in Dubai many years ago. Rusholme area has disappointed me in the past on this front. What a relief / surprise to find a reminder of real Asian cuisine as enjoyed in... More

I visited here recently based on a recommendation. We didn't have a reservation, however we were seated very quickly. Our drink and food order was taken very quickly. The popadoms were lovely, and the mains were also very nice. However, the peshwari naan was extremely sweet (more than usual) and the curries were very hot, even though we'd asked for... More
