Good food, long wait but great staff

I went here with a couple of friends who were visiting me in Manchester. I live very close to the curry mile, as a result of this my friends really wanted to experience it. I'd heard good things about Mughli's and thought we'd give it a go. I appreciate that it was a Saturday night and in... read more

This use to be one of our favourite restaurant in rusholme but not any more. We were very disappointed with the food and the service was absolutely rubbish. We didnt find the atmosphere very friendly. It became completely different place to what it was famous for definitely lost the reputation. We would never go there again neither will recommend to... It's hard to compare this indian restaurant with the likes of Lal Quila as it's offering something completely different - it would be more at home in the Northern Quarter with it's tongue in cheek signs and quirky food! Its nearest competitor 'My Lahore' although very different, just pips it to the post! I think on direct comparison (of foods... More

Following a trip to see Utd turn the city Red again following their 4-2 win we had planned to go to the famous Curry Mile and following research felt the Mugghli was a must on this trip. Eagerly anticated I would say the standard of food was mixed and certainly didn't reflect the price being charged or quantity. Prices were... More

I was recommended this restaurant by a local, clearly, they knew what they were talking about Even though the place was very busy on a Saturday night, the staff was very friendly, smiley and helpful throughout. The food is not your usual Indian 'splodge + rice'. It is delicately chosen to give people a taste feast! We had a selection... More

Great service, great food and great atmosphere. My butter chicken was amazing. Only downside are the dirty and not functioning toilets but it doesn't drag the grade down to a 4. A clear 5!

Great service, though a little slow. The staff were able to reassure me that all but one item on the menu was guaranteed to be nut free, which put my anxieties for eating out at ease. The food was very tasty too. Not cheap, but worth it.

Lambchops were nice, apart from that it was average. We were not able to decide if we wanted hot or medium.

Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The curries are exceptional but I personally fill up on a mix of starters (Chaat = heaven!!) and then share one curry between us for a main. We have never had bad service, yes there is a little wait when they are busy but a little cocktail from the menu passes... More

We came to Mughli to celebrate a birthday, so for me it was an important occasion. Eating great food, especially eating out with special people is one of my special pleasures and I believe if you're paying money it should be great quality food and experience. The restaurant was heaving when we arrived ( around 5pm ) it felt claustrophobic... More
