There five of us, one severely disabled. They took great care of us and provided a superb meal The only potential difficulty is that toilet facilitie are extremely limited and up a steep. flight of stairs, They would be inaccessible to a disabled person. We were aware of this, took appropriate precautions and the need did not arise. We definitely... More

15 of us went for my engagement - seated us at the long table upstairs. Fantastic food and service. Try the cheesecake. Will be going back.

Lovely restaurant that serves excellent food and the service is great too. Not the cheapest place but definitely worth the price. I will be going back to enjoy their great food again. The only downside and I'm being really picky here, is that the upstairs area where we were seated was pretty drab, which took something away from how special... More

This place is a little gem of a find. We have used this place for the last four years for our works Christmas meal & this year also as a retirement venue. We all agree it is one of our best places we have eaten at. No one has had a bad meal in all the four years we have... More

I found this online by chance and booked our annual girlies Xmas meal. The food was spectacular, service brilliant and the ambience homely and cosy. Will definitely go again.

I chose the restaurant based solely on the trip-advisor reviews, and as such were not disappointed in fact it surpassed high expectations. The restaurant is on a small cobbled street away from the main road of a busy Didsbury, with a car park (metrolink) opposite. It's a small but beautiful restaurant and a lovely setting. The staff were lovely and... More

I took a gamble and booked No.4 for our anniversary meal. Couldn't have made a better choice. The quiet atmosphere on a Tuesday night in November was just the ticket. Staff were excellent and the food was fantastic. Not too much and not too little on the plate. A difficult balancing act that most restaurants get wrong. While the menu... More

This is a small but high quality restaurant in didsbury. We booked a table for 4 on a Tuesday evening in November. The restaurant does not have many table's and we were placed upstairs as a large group had already been seated downstairs. Despite the fact we would have liked to have been near the kitchen downstairs the upstairs is... More

Went to No.4 for the first time last night with 5 friends after discovering it on TA. The restaurant is like a converted house and you're eating in someone's living room, which I LOVE. It's a very comfortable homely feel, yet you still feel you're out to dinner with the nice layout and candles on tables. The food was so... More

Visited for a family Sunday Lunch yesterday and we were all delighted with the lunch. Great menu , great choice something for everyone. The beef was delicious, the puddings all went down a treat and the starters pleased everyone . It's a few years since we have dined here but the standard is very high , just as good as... More
