My boyfriend and I dined here on a recommendation from a friend and I must say the food was fantastic! I would recommend this place a hundred times over!

I had Sunday lunch at No. 4 with my husband and three children and it was a delightful experience. The food and service was top notch and proved to be excellent value for money.. You can either have 2 courses for £13.95 or 3 courses for £16.95. There are about 4 choices for each course. All the food is home-... More

Visited yesterday for Mothers Day. What a wonderful experience, from the food to the service it was all excellent. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. The set menu had a good choice of dishes, and for £20.95 a head excellent value. The quality of the food is very high as is the wine. The place was really busy but... More

We booked at no 4 to try their 3 course set menu for my first Mothering Sunday and booked due to the excellent reviews we read. Let's just say we were not disappointed by our experience. The food was to die for - all 3 courses were so tasty, well presented and full of flavour. Including coffee/tea and homemade truffles... More

We went for the special evening deal and we're not disappointed. It was a Wednesday night and every table was full and they were turning people away. Our food was delicious and the other dishes coming out of the kitchen looked very appetising . We shared 2 cheesecakes between the 4 of us and it was the best cheesecake I've... More

Despite having lived in Didsbury for 5 years, we have somehow never made it to this restaurant. We found the atmosphere to be tranquil and calm and the service was very good indeed. The main reason for my wanting to leave a review was the 'millionaire's cheesecake' we both had. Wow - one of the best cheesecake's I have ever... More

The food here was great and the service was very attentive from all staff. It was a bit too quiet for me and did lack atmosphere. However if you want a quiet meal without loud background music or a noisy bar this is an ideal place to visit.

Apparently David Cameron ate here when he came to Manchester. Undeterred by this, we decided to eat there last night with friends to celebrate a legal victory. I live locally and knew of this place but for some reason had never tried it out. What a mistake to make. Intimate surroundings. Lovely, friendly staff. Excellent food. I love slightly undercooked... There are some great positives about this restaurant: It is a converted old terraced cottage in a side street that looks quaint and inviting from the outside. It is very clean, has a lovely calm atmosphere, the décor is pleasant and the welcoming and friendly staff enhance its charm even more. The food was well presented: My husband had Seared... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review regarding your visit to our restaurant. We are always happy to receive any constructive comments our customers have. However, it is insulting for you to suggest that our soup is “out of a tin” all our food is freshly made from bread to desserts, the only thing we do not... More

Visited No 4 for the first time on a Weds evening in February. On arriving the restaurant was fairly busy and seemed very cosy and welcoming. We were seated upstairs which was a bit quieter. The tables were well spaced and we were seated at a nice table in the corner. During the week there's a midweek menu available that's... More
