Nice family restaurant

Nice and quiet restaurant in a lovely backstreet in Didsbury. Very quick and efficient service as well, all staff very attentive without being overwhelming - just right! The food was well cooked with nice portions in all dishes. The turbot fillet with risotto was particulary good! From starters to... read more

Was looking forward to visiting this local restaurant after reviews. The starters were okay, fairly standard mezze plate with a tabbouleh that was lacking in flavour. The problem started with the mains. The steak ordered was asked for medium. When it arrived it was a cheaper cut of meat which was not evenly cooked. The waitress took it back to... More

Lots to like. Excellent food. Pleasing service. Relaxing atmosphere. Hidden away on an attractive cobbled Didsbury street just off the main thoroughfare. Enjoyed it very much. Perhaps more suited to quieter couples or small groups looking for a more intimate meal. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the interior whilst more than acceptable, wasn't as... Surprise visit with family last night July 4th. What a meal we had, three of us had sea bass with new potatoes and green vegetables and it was perfect. The two bosses had salmon starter and my brother tomato and basil soup. I chose duck wontons and they were delicious. With the sweets and coffee the meal was finished off... More

Didn't have any trouble finding this little gem , even though it was hidden down a side street. We went for lunch with no booking and was seated promptly by a lovely waitress. We just had a main and a pudding which we both enjoyed. Will visit again after we have tried a few more restaurants in the area.

Excellent fine food in a cosy setting. A hidden jem. We were so impressed we returned with friends and the visit was equally impressive. A varied menu with interesting delights. Leave room for pudding as the are exquisite.
