Cosy Meal with Excellent Food

We ate here for my wife's 30th birthday and were delighted with the experience. Food was beautifully cooked and presented, well seasoned and portion sizes were perfect. The menu isn't the biggest ever, but there was plenty to pick from that we wanted to eat and I could go back tomorrow and have a... read more

We went here with family; brilliant meal! Complimentary truffles, great meals (the fish dishes here are exquisite) and fantastic service. The staff are very diligent. Great homely feel, small restaurant but somewhere just off Didsbury High Street. I would definitely go here again. Prices are spot on; somewhere to go for a nice weekend meal. Espresso Martini was brilliant. Great... More

My frustration with this site is that it's easy to damage a reputation and passion of a business and work ethic of individuals who take the time to cook and serve you anyway that said - reading reviews on No4 I decided to have an open view and I must highlight that you need to try this Resturant out!! Great... More

When you want a good restaurant serving good honest food that delivers on taste and you are a family with 3 grown up teens - where can you go? Well No.4 was just the ticket. After delicious starters of field mushrooms in blue cheese on brioche, tempura prawns and a delicious tomato & basil soup our mains also delivered well... More

We visited here for a christmas meal with friends. Its a small restaurant, sort of feels like you are in someones living room. Staff were polite and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, all food was delicious. One thing which would have been nice with it being a christmas meal, was crackers! There were none and we missed them! But thats... More

We went to No. 4 as an adult family of 6. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great. Starters were to die for with 4 of our party raving about the tiger prawns for weeks after our visit. The mains continued this trend and with the wine flowing we had an incredibly enjoyable evening with... More

Excellent food, couldn't fault it! Best fish I've had in a long time. The mid week menu is also excellent value for money. Friendly service, very efficient and the restaurant is cosy and warm. I think I've always been greeted by the manager who has always been helpful and pleasant.
