One of the better Thais

Had a perfectly good meal. Met my criteria for Thai - plenty of flavour. Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices

We randomly visited Chinatown and tried it spontaneously. The food was delicious and the whole restaurant is very authentic. We really loved it there. The green tea is also a very good recommendation! Will definitely go there again when in Manchester!

Brilliant. So good we went twice during our 4 day stay in Manchester. Booking a doddle, and necessary as both times the place was full and a good turnover of diners. Very Attentive staff, Hot food and as My Thai partner kept telling me, just as good as back home. By far, the best Thai restaurant outside of Thailand I... More

I have been a few times now and every time I am in China Town it's my first choice. I can not get fed up eating coconut rice and stir fry at Try Thai. It's one of those places I will go again and again. Affordable meals. Good and fast service.

I was a bit reluctant going to a thai restaurant as thai is my least favourite food, however this place was fantastic. I enjoyed two courses and tried my friends dishes which I also enjoyed. I will definitely go back here again

visited here in August with a party of 9, the service was very attentive, well noted and wasn't too forced, the food was superb, I had the coriander beef to start with and the chicken chilli noodles for the main. I sampled a variety of dishes and they were all top notch. The drinks prices are also very reasonable. Haven't... More

We dropped in on a Saturday early evening impromptu dinner. No problem in getting a table. Service was a little disjointed but not poor. Starters were a little disappointing however this was more than compensated for by the stunning main courses. Give it a try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed and really good value for money. Recommend: green Thai... More

The restaurant was (understandably) full when I arrived. I hadn't booked. I was there alone so they managed to sneak me in on a table for two booked from 50 mins ahead. Good. The waitresses was very friendly and nice. The menu was what you expect from a good Thai place and also had a couple of dishes with a... More

If I want Thai, Try Thai is the place to go. With excellent presentation and really delicious food it has never let down from intimate meals to large groups the standard does not drop. Booking in advance is advisable.

Food here smelt amazing hence why we came here although the starters of chicken satay were lovely there was lacking something in the main... The Thai red curry just didn't taste very nice and very synthetic unfortunately it has put my fiancé off Thai food!
