I decided to try this new place after seeing a film at the Cornerhouse Cinema, it's a few yards across the road. The steamed buns were recommended as an option but I picked the wrong filling. The sticky chicken was way too sweet for me and combined with the sweet buns it was just a bad combo. Will possibly return... More

It's changed! Now it is "Kitchenette" - and very good too! See my review under that name. I used to like the Italian food, but the new very mixed cuisine tasted excellent a few days ago.

'Quite limited menu but food was good. Service could be better especially for drinks. Good but not great!

Went here last night, pre theatre, very friendly staff, food was lovely, nice atmosphere, tasty wine. Would highly recommend, also just across the road from Palace Theatre :)

Extremely happy!! I took my wife here last night for a meal before watching a play at the palace theatre. The food was fantastic, very tasty and good value. The staff were friendly, helpful and the surroundings were pleasant and atmosphere was good. No complaints at all, thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation!

Me and my partner visited the restaurant for valentines day. My third visit. Love the mixed starter, cant steer away from it each time i've been! The pasta and meatballs is huge and the chicken & chorizo was also very nice (chicken was very slightly over done) but apart from that, all fabulous and will certai ly be popping in... More

Tasty pasta in comfortable surroundings. Good service. Not overpriced. Welcomed, even though it was quite late

Was on my way to a Chinese restaurant when I saw 40% off meals offer and thought 'why not'. I was pleasantly surprised at how big (long) the restaurant is (quite deceptive from the outside). I was met by a pleasant and well-mannered manager who talked me through the restaurant and meals. I decided on the 2 course menu for... More

don't go if you love real Italian food. pizzas were small and just average, starters were misleading (the menu says "bruschetta and focaccia", but we were presented with three pieces of toasted bread). the worst part was dessert: pistachio ice cream with chocolate brownie. the ice-cream was almond, not pistachio, and the brownies were really dry and tough - they... Stayed at the palace hotel and asked the receptionist where the nearest Italian was and she told us about this place. So glad she did as I think we would of walked past it without seeing it!! Note to manager - needs to be lit more!!! After a shaky start (the waiter broke 2 glasses!!) we had a good laugh... More
