Great food

I was recently entertained to a business lunch here at TNQ with 2 business colleagues.. What a gem of a restaurant I've walked past it many times. We all had the scallops for starters, they were excellent. I had chicken Kiev for my main. It was a good size and very tender. In fact I struggled to... read more

Went with a friend who recommended it and the quality of the food was fantastic. I had scallops, lamb and creme brûlée and it was the best meal I've had in Manchester. It's quite pricey - but definitely worth it as a treat.

Stopped by for sunday lunch, was busy and a good atmosphere which is always a good sign. Food was good honest british food to a good standard, worth a visit, everything was very good, but lacked seasoning (only taste) and nothing was particularly stand out.

The service was very good, attentive without being intrusive. Good choice of locally sourced, fresh produce. The chicken Kiev was incredible, so tender. And as for the t bone steak....relatively expensive but so worth it....melt in the mouth with the most divine shrimp butter & potato dauphinoise. Desserts were faultless...the salted chocolate cheesecake & creme brûlée were a real treat.... More

Very nice and spacious restaurant that serves good food and drinks. Try the cheese platter! Friendly service, though starter came while one of us was cueing for the toilets. The latter cannot be avoided due to the strange toilet arrangements, but is something to pay attention to when serving the food.

Whilst the food is undoubtedly excellent quality and well cooked I was disappointed at the menu choice. I struggled to find a main course I would like so ordered two starters. When I enquired if I could have one of the starters, the Chicken Livers, as a larger portion as this was to be my main course, obviously I was... More

I had a delicious dinner at TNQR with a colleague. The star dishes were 2 vegetarian for some reason: a gnocchi with walnuts (which sounded intriguing and ended up being the most scrumptious thing I have eaten in ages) and the gratin of cavolo nero! The staff was friendly and efficient and I will certainly return.

I visited here with a small group of friends. The service I thought was friendly and informal, yet professional and informative. The menu was for me a nice size with a good mix of dishes. All the food was very good and served in the right time, we were there at a peak time and we were never rushed through.... More
