Myself and a colleague both became incredibly ill for 5 days after eating here. As both our meals were vegan I fear cross contamination with meat and/or dairy products.

I go to Falafel on a regular base. I love their falafel. The ratio quality price is excellent. The staff is friendly and the food is good. It is clean, but hygiene can improve.

Returning from holiday last June, I was craving kebabs made from REAL lamb ( not doner meat, not cubed meat, but "proper" lamb on the grill ). Went up and down the curry mile, and this place was the only one that could offer this from the many kebab houses I visited. Not somewhere I would take a first date... More

Don't let the exterior, or the interior for that matter, put you off this takeaway - it is the best falafel in Manchester by a long way. It's crazy cheap and you get a lot for your money as well. Personally I always go for the falafel but I hear the other options on the menu are also pretty good.

Every time I visit Manchester, this place is very high on my must-do things. The falafel is exquisite. The naan bread is freshly prepared and the souses are also very good. An absolute must for any vegetarian

I tried this place in 2009 while visiting a friend. Since then everytime I go to Manchester I have to go there. The falafel there is fresh and done to perfection. Other middle eastern food is available. Some pizza like pastry called fatayer with various toppings. The tea is authentic and taste great. Highly recommended. If you like falafel you... More

Ive been eating here at least once a week for years. The staff are really friendly, the food is great and it's SO CHEAP! Falafel is the best place to eat on Manchesters famous "curry mile". Its a hidden gem amongst greasy takeaways and over priced restaurants. Highlights: Falafel meal, cheese fataya (a kind of pizza), hummous (large!), spicy potatoes,... More

I've been going to falafel every other week for about 6 years now, always have the same thing, falafel meal, spicy potatoes, a large hummous and mint tea. You just can't go wrong with Falafel, the food is so tasty, cheap, filling and healthy and the staff are always really friendly. Its got a nice cosy cafe feel to it.... More

This place is what other reviewers mean, I think, when they talk about 'hidden gems' that are on a main road. Though unprepossessing in appearance, the falafel is creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside, and comes in a wrap or a portion or a 'meal'. The chips are good. They also do a very nice mint tea.... More

Falafel is great. Quick tasty food at reasonable prices. Saves me from eating those dreadful curries on wilmslow road
