Description: Since opening it's doors five years ago, Dough has been striving to push the boundaries with our creative pizzas. Our bases arrive in the building in the form of bags of , '00' white, whole-wheat & rice flour, olive oil and yeast, with everything on our menu made with extra helpings of love and completely from scratch by our own Dough chefs. These same chefs who are continuously playing with our recipes and toying with ideas to create the perfect Neapolitan style pizza. Award winning in our first year. Even better in our fifth year and still completely independent, we pride ourselves on the knowledge we have gained over the past 5 years perfecting our regular, gluten free and whole-wheat dough. We're not called Dough for nothing.

I am glad to have returned to my favourite pizzeria. The relaxed atmosphere, great food, wine and service along with good value never fails. Even more so today, I am a vegetarian and love the options I have here. My friend is a vegan and really enjoyed the three courses that he had. Thanks again!

Food was mediocre, and a little overpriced but my main issue with dough was the staff. The restaurant was basically empty but service was slow and our waitress was rather grumpy. We were seated next to the till and several times during our meal we overheard our waitress and other members of staff making negative and rude comments about customers.... More

Had been here a couple of years ago and enjoyed it but most recent visit wasn't a patch on the first time. 6 of us shared a meal but not one person raved about anything. Pizzas we're over-cooked, dry and bland. I had the 'All Day Breakfast' pizza which was a real let-down: dry over done egg, burnt bacon, sausage,... More

Been here twice before and really enjoyed it so I arranged the Christmas party for my team at work and took us here as I felt it was a bit different. I hate to say it but I was a bit disappointed. We were seated downstairs where there were no other diners (this is 5:30pm on Thursday 11th December) so... More

We had precisely an hour before the cinema, and as locals we'd heard good things about Dough. Popped in, lovely table, friendly service, prompt with drinks, pizzas out in 20 minutes and it was awesome! Reasonable price, and service was excellent! Some independent places struggle with being punctual, which I why people in a rush head to chains, but Dough... More

Such a disappointment! We visited on a Sunday early lunch (12pm) and were the the only ones in to start and the service was still awful. Staff more interested in having fun and chatting than serving us. The food took ages to arrive but was very nice. I wouldn't go again though as the service was that bad.

We had pre-booked a table for four at 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday night the second week in to the start of the Christmas markets, and this was a wise decision as lots of people were being turned away as the place was fully booked all night. The menu has a reasonable selection, particularly the Pizza choices; however there are... More

First visit here with friends. The ambience is ok and my pizza was satisfactory but I would not say excellent or good. The crust was a bit too overdone for me. Good location in the northern quarter and not far from the metrolink at shudehill.

We booked this under the Gourmet Dining Club scheme. The visit didnt start well as we got lost walking down from Picadilly Railway Station. We then could not see it as the signs are low down and we were on the opposite side of the road. The view was obscured by vans out the front. We had biooked with a... More

Popped in, excellent staff, pizza thin and flavoursome the way I like them and reasonably priced. Cracking glass of Cloud Island Sauvignon too. Will f]g o back next time I'm in Manchester.
