After reading other Trip Advisor reviews of The Third Eye it was time to make a return trip. A solo visit, I spent £22 including a tip on poppadoms, starter, main course and a bottle of Cobra. I had a good chat with proprietor Arun who reminded me that the restaurant had been open since 2000 and also told me... More

Fabulous family run Nepalese/Indian. In the heart of Didsbury village. Arun and his sisters run this very busy establishment loved by the locals. Try the chicken shaslick and fish tikka starters, king prawn chilli, saag aloo and keema peas love it!

Fantastic food - I usually suffer the next day after a curry but whenever I visit this place, I'm absolutely fine! The staff are very friendly, the space is really nice and the food and drinks served professionally and bursting with flavour. Great.

I had not heard of the Third Eye prior to visiting the restaurant. Very close friend leaves very nearby and she organised the evening. Little difficult to find parking near by but we managed. First thing I noticed when ordering that menu was not full of your regular dishes. I opted for a Chicken dish which my friend regularly enjoys... More

This is the first and last time I will be going to third eye. The food average, went to mughli in rushholme last weekend and it was a thousand times better. I had the chefs special which tasted weirdly like it had a can of Heinz tomato soup in it, hopefully that isn't the case. Food didn't taste authentic to... More

I cannot fault the food here, really enjoyed it. But the way we were constantly looked at as other people came in really let the place down. Literally the second we got up to leave a waiter looked at us and started shouting to another member of staff they can get the table ready. No one said goodbye or thank... More

Never been here before. I had read the reviews on here and my expectations were high.. I was not disappointed. The service was first-class; the staff very friendly, nice place and the food was excellent. Can't fault it. I went for the set meal :- http://www.originalthirdeye.com/?menu-food=o3e-special. Absolutely delicious, a wide variety of flavours and generous portions too. Will definitely be... More

In my last review, I said the place was hit and miss in the sense that the normally very high quality food can be compromised if there is a specific chef in the kitchen. I have been five times since the last review and things were outstandingly good. either the less accomplished chef has pulled their socks up or has... More

The Eye is a Didsbury institution . For the take away customer it is handily placed next to the Dog and Partridge for a pint while you wait. inside it has a modern look and uses the small space very well. It's very popular for the good reason that the food is wonderful. The paneer chilli is genius.Makhan fish is fabulous?There... More
