If you are a rugby club looking for a Madras competition then this isn't for you. The Third Eye serves interesting, well cooked food that is exquisitely spiced. If you want hot, they are happy to oblige but what they do best is good food. That's good for four stars, but friendly service and a different take on Indian beer... More

I've eaten in the restaurant three times and lost count of how many times I've ordered take away. The food here is delicious and a step up compared to your normal oily curries. The service is always really friendly and we always get a complimentary Cobra beer with our take aways which is a nice touch. The only time I've... More

Visitied here for a eat-in meal on Friday 5th December at 7pm with my Mum and Girlfriend. My girlfriend and I often order takeaway from here. Mainly because it’s close enough to our house to walk to but also because I really like the Madras and my girlfriend really likes the Dansak they do. However, one thing that I’ve noticed... More

The Nepali curry houses of South Manchester provide a great little enclave of better than average spicy food. It had been many years since I'd visited The Third Eye, but on a slow, slightly hungover Sunday, curry seemed like the way to go. The restaurant is snug and it's not the place to go if you are going to confide... More

Before I posted my review I read a couple of the other reviews on here and quite frankly I'm astonished! If this place is as good as some of these people claim they’ve had one hell of an off night. The restaurant is small and quite cramped but this didn’t really bother me too much. I visited with two friends... More

Recently moved to round the corner from this restaurant so decided to give it a go. We got the menu up from the website and ordered via phone to collect. Upon collecting, one of the friendly staff got a bottle of cobra and said it was ours to take home for free. Sweet! But we noticed that the total cost... More

People have a pride in family business this shows through the dining experience in the third eye. From the initial friendly greeting you feel welcome in this restaurant. This is a very small restaurant and so it is quite imitate. It is always good to book ahead but so far (fingers crossed) no matter how busy it looked from outside... More

Went with a colleague who had just been promoted. Skipped the starters and just had popadoms followed by tandoori chicken massala on the bone - very nice. Prompt service throughout.
