We had a lovely meal at the Rajdoot - really authentic indian food which we don't often get where we live. The service was excellent and the atmosphere great. Loved the lights !! We will definitely go back next time we are in Manchester.

We have just got back from enjoying a superb meal at Rajdoot. The food was beautiful and the service attentive, friendly and polite. We will be returning! Certainly our favourite curry restaurant in Manchester. Thank you for a great night

Had lunch with my wife while in Manchester. The food was excellent and plentiful . Service was the very best you could hope for. I will be going back again and again.

My husband and I were enjoying a night away in Manchester, we decided not to eat at our hotel and instead peruse the streets on the off-chance of finding a good curry house. We were located on the Portland street at the Britannia and didn't want to walk too far due to my heels. I used the trip adviser Manchester... More

The Rajdoot was a trailblazer in the mid - late 60's and early 70's. The current establishment lacks the flair, vivacity and theatre of those days. The food is adequate - but little more.

On a very wet Sunday evening there were only two other diners so the atmosphere was flat. On the upside is that the food arrived very quickly. I ordered a cod curry just for a change, and it was light but spicy with fresh shards of ginger and a generous helping of coriander. I had it with pilau rice, which... More

I came to the Rajdoot with a colleague, staying in Manchester for an exhibition we asked a local where to go for a curry. The Rajdoot came highly recommended. The restaurant is tricky to find although it's just off the main square, it is in a basement under the Bank of India. You order food in the landing area before... More

A group of friends and myself ate here on a Saturday night. Although we didn't have a table booked, we were told we would be waiting 45 minutes for a table to become available, which we were happy to do as the restaurant was busy and this is always taken as a good sign. While waiting for our table, we... More

I’ve been to Rajdoot before (but not for years) and it’s always been a pleasant experience. Although it was very quiet (only 2 other tables catered for whilst we were there, but it was early), it didn’t put us off as me and my friends have been before so know the quality of the food. This was excellent as was... More
