Brought here for a birthday meal never having been before. Food was gorgeous, well cooked and very well presented...plenty to offer and decent portions
Booked as a surprise for a family birthday meal. We had never been before and booked based on the good reviews. We went Saturday night and was told we had the table for 2 hours (based on 3 people). The restaurant was nicely decorated and our waitress Ying was lovely. We sat near the kitchen and could see all the... More
We found this restaurant by chance a couple of years ago, and were very impressed by the really lovely food and the service. In the last 3 months we have visited twice, once having the pre-theatre 2 course meal which was excellent value (£15 including drink), and the second time having a more leasurely birthday meal. On both occasions the... More
Great restaurant that delivers fantastic quality food and excellent service. The restaurant is tastefully set out with quirky seating. Restrooms are clean and a pleasure to use which can't be said for many restaurants!
This restaurant has been top of the tree as far as thai cuisine in Manchester is concerned. Whilst the decor has changed over the years, the quality of the dining has not.one cannot but be impressed by the food and the service at this restaurant.
The food here is amazing I absolutely adore this restaurant the peanut chicken is to die for. We have eaten here numerous times as the food is wonderful. The service is average though and I think the waiting staff could be friendlier. We have only been once on a Saturday night and I would reapeat we had a table booked... More

Manchester was the easiest place for us all to get to and we had been to the Chaophraya in Liverpool and really loved it. The front of house was lovely but the table service wasn't quite as friendly and like one of the other... More
Been to the restaurant in Leeds and was not disappointed with the Manchester experience. Best Thai food excellent, the service was top class. Never been to Bangkok must a piece of Bangkok in Manchester.
Chaophraya is tucked away off the main streets of Manchester and is a little gem of a restaurant. The decor is glamorous but warming. The food is exceptional. I never have anything to complain about you don't even realise that the waiting team have cleared glasses etc as they are so discreet and polite. The Chicken Pad Thai is a... More
My friends & I often eat here prior to attending the Exchange Theatre & it is always amazingly efficient (without being rushed) and superb value for money as they have a "pre theatre special offer" which includes a beverage (alcoholic or soft). They have even altered part of the restaurant to accomodate theatre goers - fab idea! The food is... More
