Located in the luxurious Cotswold House in the centre of Chipping Campden, The Cotswold Grill is the hub of the hotel, serving drinks and meals throughout the day. The more laidback sister of the elegant Dinning Room, The Cotswold Grill boasts the same kitchen team, under the expert guidance of Head Chef Dave Watts, winner of the Good Food Guide Chef to Watch Award. The Cotswold Grill has its own street entrance, an open fire and bar, and a separate area for private dining overlooking the stunning glass sculpture. Very good food but erratic service

A great restaurant with a nice view of the square. Friendly staff and nice surroundings. The food was great and filled me up, a definite 5/5

As part of a Spa break package and mid week the main restaurant was unavailable however we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of our food at dinner which tasted as good as it looked

The food here was at a good standard with a reasonable selection of dishes and unpretentious portion sizes. The main highlight was the excellent service we received from the waiting staff, particularly a dark haired lady (I unfortunately didn't catch her name) who was very genuine and pleasant throughout our meal.

We stayed at this hotel which included a half-board package in this restaurant for two nights (highly recommend the deal if you can). We ate dinner and breakfast here over two days. Dinner highlights the skill in the kitchen. See my photos which document almost everything we ate over two days. This place manages to strike the balance of being... More

We ate here as we were stopping in the hotel and a meal was included in the package. The menu is extensive and maybe this is the problem. The lighting is very intense and very bright therefore it is more like a wine bar without the wine. The service is poor we ordered olives and bread before out starters and... More

The atmosphere was relaxed and staff were attentive. Quite a modern room however, we expected more traditional look to the dining room. Steak was excellent as was the local pork. Desserts very generous portions. Wine by the carafe was a good idea as only one person of the two was drinking.

My wife and I visited on the evening of Friday 19th September. The restaurant was half-full. Extensive menu but we both opted for rump steaks, fries, pepper sauce, green salad and mushroom which were excellent! Nice bottle of Argentinian Malbec. I finished with a cheese selection and my wife a sundae type desert both of which were very good. We... More
