Good value good service

We had a good meal in the bar. If you want to eat in the restaurant you probably need to pre book. We had to book for the bar and got the last slot. Same menu

What luck to come upon the Eight Bells - a charming old pub, restaurant and also hotel in the lovely Cotswold town of Chipping Campden. I was staying at the excellent Cornerways B& B and the owners Carole and Leslie suggested this pub/restaurant for dinner They were right on - great suggestion! I enjoyed a tender lamb shank with vegetables... More

Nice old pub. We had a couple of beer one evening and lunch one day. Good service and food. Old charm but functional rooms

Their lunch sandwiches and French fries and cuppa tea were pricey at ₤8 per sandwich. A large white-bread bun with a thin sliver of fatty ham and gloppy coleslaw while the other sandwich had a single sausage cut in half. The fries were over salted. It wasn't a good value for the money. I'm not sure why people like it.

Food was delicious, if a little pricey, service excellent. More upmarket dining area one side and seating area also in main pub. Great atmosphere, walkers and locals alike. Highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly and polite and looked after us, the menu was varied and they stocked a good range of beers.

Nice welcome both on the phone and in person. Cosy pub interior. Interesting collection of beers. We thought the food menu was short of options, However, we shared a starter - Chicken Liver Parfait - that was fine and then both the lamb shank and the ham were fine. I had a glass of wine that was fine. As a... More

Very friendly bistro pub which gives good value for money in both quality and quantity terms . You are in safe hands at the Eight Bells. Strandards consistently maintained over the years.
