special place to visit in the Cotswolds

We were well looked after here for lunch. The staff were attentive, and the menu offered a tasty range of lunches and lighter snacks. Some of the ingredients were locally sourced. The place has an authentic Cotswold feel to it, and has a relaxed atmosphere. Well worth a return visit.

This café makes me want to move to England straight away! We stayed in Chipping Campden for a week in March, and visited Huxleys as ofte as we could. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, with a great breakfast and lunch menu, drinks and pastery. All served by a nice fire. Huxleys seemed to attract all sorts of people in... More

Sat outside under the large parasol, soaking up the sun and enjoying a yummy leisurely lunch. The menu offered a great choice and staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely visit again.

We found Huxleys on Christmas Eve where we spent a magical few hours in front of a blazing fire drinking champagne cocktails and devouring a cheese platter. I thought perhaps it was a touch of Christmas magic that made it so special but we recently returned and found that it's actually like that all the time! It's a wonderful quaint... More

Discovering places like this is why I love travelling. The atmosphere of this place really suits Cotswolds, with it's beams, low ceiling, fur on chairs and the fireplace. We managed to get a seat near the fire and were asked to keep the fire going - don't know what type of wood they use for the fire, but the smell... More

We were three friends staying in Chipping Campden for a week in the start of Easter; returning to Huxleys four times. Great ambiance, good service, fabulous food and drinks, and a very charming place. If you're in the Cotswolds this is definately a place to stop by - highly recommended!

We popped in here whilst we waited for our hotel room to be ready for check in and what a lovely cosy restaurant. Had a couple of glasses of wine and shared a beautiful antipasti board. I had a brownie and my partner had a carrot cake both of which were worth the calories!!! We were also served by a... More

We started our walk of the Cotswold Way in Chipping Campden and needed lunch before we set off. We found Huxleys in the main street near the Market Hall. It is a really cosy friendly place. We had a nice table by the open fire for our light lunchtime meal. I had Bruschetta Col Tomino which was excellent and my... More

I popped in here for a drink to waste some time as I was early for an appointment and glad I did. It's a lovely little coffee shop, quite dark inside but full of character and a relaxing place to spend a spare half an hour or so if you like fresh coffee and home made cakes. There's also a... More
