We visited on a cold rang day in April and we so happy to find a warm, friendly pub to greet us at the Baker's Arm. There were two fires going at each end of the pub. Very good food and very friendly service. We'll definitely return.

Forget about having an overpriced meal in Chipping Campden.Take a short walk into Broad Campden and try this place.Set in the tiny village of Broad Campden, about 1/2 mile walk from Chipping Campden this place is a must to visit. The pub is only small but the welcome and the food and drink are 'big'. The place is run by a... More

We had an excellent dinner at this traditional Cotswold Pub which is located a short distance from Chipping Campden. I had the hake tagine which is well worth trying and beautifully cooked. The menu has a number of tempting 'specials' and the sweet potato fries are a real treat to order. The staff are friendly with a really warm welcome.... More

A first visit since new ownership and our food was very good on a crowded, busy Saturday evening. The staff were very welcoming, but just one or two faults, very easily rectified. Firstly, our table in the bar was well placed, but very sticky! It needed to have a good, good wipe! Secondly, we waited a very long time, but,... More

This is an old fashioned pub, and I don't mean that as a criticism but a relief from all the Hooray Henry establishments that are spoiling outings in the Cotswolds. The atmosphere is cosy, the beer good and the food very tasty, plentiful and reasonable! What more could you want.

We popped in for a pint one Friday lunchtime on a walk from our cottage in Blockley. Had a lovely pint at the bar and decided to go back to eat there Saturday lunchtime. The food was excellent, especially the homemade soup, the choice of ales superb, and the staff and locals were very friendly. We settled in to watch... More

Popped in here for a drink one Sunday and found a friendly and cosy pub, which to judge from the number of "reserved" notices on the tables is very popular for sunday lunches! Next time we're in the area we hope to return and try for ourselves.

We called in at The Bakers for an evening meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very good choice of meals on the menu at reasonable prices. I had rump steak which was cooked exactly as requested, it was delicious. My husband had the sausage and mash with vegetables which he said was really tasty. Did have to wait a... More

Great, friendly pub. Food was good value and wholesome portions. Lots of real ales to choose from and staff and locals made myself, wife and daughter very welcome.

We were staying down the road at the malt house and they recommended it. We popped in for a drink mid afternoon and had a nice chat with the owner, nice and friendly. Our table was reserved and I'm glad it was reserved since we saw several disappointed folk when the place was busy. There was live music on which... More
