My wife and I were in Chipping Campden, the first week in July and were staying nearby. The hotel restaurant was one that was recommended. I had lamb for dinner...was amazing !One o the most memorable meals 've had. Compliments to the chef !

Myself and a group of friend s met and all with our babies. (6 adults and 3 babies). They put us separate into our own lovely dining room and gave us a key to an upstairs bedroom so we could change the babies if needed. The food was incredible (i had the lamb shank :-)) and we were well looked... More

We were looking forward to a good pub meal at the Lygon Arms, but were disappointed with what we received, despite the reviews we had read on TripAdvisor. The service was adequate and in some cases the owner of the pub, came across as quite abrupt. Though the food was actually fine, we had to wait at least half an... More

Okay service, okay food and lots of boiled to death vegetables... Was very disappointed after reading so many good reviews on tripadvisor. Not cheap either! Won't be going back.

Great pub, but food nothing to shout about. Very long list of choices on the menu always sets off alarm bells ... . Vegetables were very over-cooked and soggy, and those who had meat were not impressed with the quality. Same went for the fish. Service was not very friendly (even when we made the phone booking) - rather cold... More

We stopped in to the Lygon Arms for a bite to eat in our one night in Chipping Campden. We sat in the pub section of the restaurant and that was great. Great atmosphere. We had the fish and chips and roast beef. Both were delicious.

Would stop by there for an occasional pint. The weather was great when we were there, so we ate outdoors more often than not.

Great scallops and bacon starter. English classics such a s fish and chips, bangers and mash were all very tasty and good sized portions. The pub atmosphere was friendly and I'm glad we chose it for our first meal out. Gets quite busy so you might need to book if going for and evening meal.
