Ate here last week with 15 others for our staff Christmas Do. We were given our own private dining room (with own bar!) upstairs at no extra charge - a gorgeous, atmospheric space - that was decorated for Christmas. Food was very reasonable, £25 each for a set Christmas menu, and it was blooming delicious, every plate was scraped clean!... More

We had our "Keep Fit" class Christmas lunch here this week, and couldn't have found better anywhere. The meal was superb, the service prompt, the staff friendly and helpful, and the room was beautifully decorated for us. A really great experience.

We found this place after a long, tiring drive from Bath and it was not only good food but very relaxing atmosphere.

We turned up at lunchtime, and the place was empty, which it never used to be. We then found both that the prices had risen considerably and the service had got much slower. When the cottage pie finally appeared, we found that it had an added extra: a long hair had been included in the pie. We pointed this out... More

We had a fantastic meal at the Lygon Arms. Service was very good and the meal itself was great. Will certainly be returning.

Stayed at the Lygon Arms and ate in the restaurant 2 nights of the 3 night stay. Excellent choices. I don't eat meat but plenty of fish and vegetarian choices. There are many places to eat out in Chipping Campden but we enjoyed our meal so much on the first night we ate there again on the third night! I... More

I had the pleasure in dinning here for an evening meal and a breakfast,it was related to a wedding i was invited to. The meal of choice i had was gammon steak,it was absolutely delicious and one of the tenderest moist steaks i have had. There were 10 in our party but this didn`t pose a problem and we didn`t... I had the beef and Stilton pie complete with vegetables and chips. More than I could eat, every bite was excellent. Add beer and dinner was complete. Had to skip dessert, just did not have any more room.

We were seated at 6 pm. At 6:20, our waitress had neither taken our drink order or gotten us menus. When we asked for menus, we were told there were new menus. When we finally got them, it turned out that all they did was cross out those items that were no longer available. Once of those was lamp chops,... More

The food was great but if you are wanting cheap meals Chipping Campden is not the place. The choice of eateries is immense so the Lygon has to be up with the best. Great food, nice atmosphere and friendly people.
