'SET' in charming location...

Lovely quaint beamed tea room serving all the traditionals - would love to have had loose tea and jam in pots but still worth a visit the cakes looked delicious!!

Good points - good quality baked goods, very fresh. Bad points - coffee very small for the price, everything expensive for what it was. Chairs very uncomfortable. We went in at 4pm and after serving us, they started clearing everything down. Made us feel very unwelcome and in the way. Shame, because the staff otherwise seemed very polite. We won't... More

Nice coffe and tea, chocolate thingy and toasted teacake. Quite expensive but cosy with nice warm fire. Pretty little village worth a visit. Free parking on the roads.

Badgers Hall Tea Room (their website does not have an apostrophe like this TA page does) served us an excellent afternoon tea. My husband, son, and I had sandwiches, cakes, crumpets, scones, and tea, and it was all delicious. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Our only disappointment was the price, as it was as expensive as it would be... More

I popped in here with my friend and we had a wonderful lunch. The service was quick and friendly and the place was quaint and quiet. We each had a cheese and herb scone which was absolutely delicious and a big slice of their irresistible looking cakes

We popped in here when touring the Cotswolds and had 'elevenses' and liked it so much we came back another day for tea! Very quiet and peaceful, cosy log burner, excellent home-made cakes on display and very good toasted tea cakes, crumpets and warm scones! Not for big noisy familes or badly behaved children (as you would live in fear... More

Looked for a nice place for a cream tea on our travels - the scone had obviously been reheated from frozen and the jam was generic sticky nonsense. Very disappointing as we were looking forward to the classic Cotswold cream tea experience. Didn't get it here! All felt a bit stilted, stale and old fashioned. No dogs allowed either (except... I loved the cream tea here, it was warm and cosy and the staff were friendly. Delicious! I would say that the rules and regulations on the back of ladies door is a misfire. You don't want to go to toilet and feel like you're being told off when you haven't done anything wrong. Take this down and you'd get... More
