Lovely Tea and Cake

After a long muddy walk with 2 dogs we needed to refuel and although early April the sun was shinning so were able to utilise the courtyard area to enjoy some tea and cake. The menu selection looked brilliant and everything we saw looked homemade and delicious, we decided to stick to cake and... read more

Feeling somewhat dubious about our choice of venue, I decided to order the soup (something I never do as am not a fan of... More

Stopped for lunch after a morning walk and were served well with good food. Pretty little setting in a picturesque town with good soups, sandwiches and of course a wide selection of cakes and sweets. Very nice!

First visit to the cotswolds with my partner, staff made us feel very welcome. The scones was delicious with fresh clotted cream and the hot chocolate was a delight very cosy and cheap

Good points - good quality baked goods, very fresh. Bad points - coffee very small for the price, everything expensive for what it was. Chairs very uncomfortable. We went in at 4pm and after serving us, they started clearing everything down. Made us feel very unwelcome and in the way. Shame, because the staff otherwise seemed very polite. We won't... More

Nice coffe and tea, chocolate thingy and toasted teacake. Quite expensive but cosy with nice warm fire. Pretty little village worth a visit. Free parking on the roads.

Badgers Hall Tea Room (their website does not have an apostrophe like this TA page does) served us an excellent afternoon tea. My husband, son, and I had sandwiches, cakes, crumpets, scones, and tea, and it was all delicious. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Our only disappointment was the price, as it was as expensive as it would be... More
