Excellent!

In holidays in Chipping Campden for 10 days, we ended up the first day at the Badger's for our first lunch in England. The kids had jacket potatoes and we had the pie. The food was fresh, very well presented and so good!!! We had enough just with the main course but were convinced by the waitress... read more

Nice cake but shame about the rude lady with the short grey hair and glasses! She may be the owner so sadly I fear that she would not be asked to leave to allow this place better customer service. Other staff were lovely. Plenty of other places to choose from if you are in this lovely village but sadly this... More

Were wandering about Chipping Campden, not sure where to have morning coffee, when we discovered Badger's Hall Tearoom. Very quirky with a lovely table set out with tempting home baking. Although the cakes looked great, we had scones which were delicious. Kept wondering about customers who looked at the menus or went to the toilet then disappeared! Only realised when... More

Nice chicken cranberry sandwich, and salmon asparagus quiche. Sun. Tea. An interesting fountain made from old tea pots and cups and kitchen things, and plants.

We found this little gem last year and returned to find it just as good and just as welcoming to our dog digby in their little courtyard. On the hottest day of the year they had the brilliant idea of providing a large flask of cold water and plastic cups to help yourself! The homemade cakes and scones are just... More

Morning tea? - no problem a great selection. Lunch? Now you are talking. I had the cheesy potato topped pie with vegetables. I just love it when hot food is served hot. I mean steaming hot. It is comfort food on a plate or in a deep dish. Great surroundings, lovely staff, fab food a full tummy of tasty traditional... More

Delicious home made food. I had a lovely soup and salad and husband had an unusual African dish called babootie that was scrumptious. Would have gone back for dinner if they were open!

Had lunch here last week on a beautiful sunny day and the courtyard at the back of Badger's Hall Tea Rooms was the perfect sun-trap. We had sandwiches and salads, cakes, cold drinks and coffees. All were excellent (the ham in the sandwiches was especially good). Staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem I spotted was that they were... More

We had the cream tea - the scones were delicious, and you can pick the type of tea you'd like. There was a table full of home made cakes that people were photographing as well. Great ambiance. A perfect spot to meet up.
