Delicious home made cakes

Excellent home made cakes and excellent service. Although the tea room was full on our visit the service was prompt as there were lots of waitresses all working hard.

After walking along the main street in Chipping Campden, we were enticed into Badger's tea room by the aroma of the most scrumptious jacket potatoes, and boy we were glad we did! The jacket potatoes are cooked fresh every day on an Aga and are just amazing. We finished the meal off with a large slice of chocolate cake and... More

This was our second visit and would definitely return. The aga braised beef bap is delicious. Lovely chocolate cake too.

There are two tea rooms in Campden - this and the Bantam Tea Room. I have only had scones at either place and while Bantam's is a nicer place to sit and relax (I like a room with more light and Badger's Hall is dark compared to Bantam), I much prefer Badger's Hall. I can't speak to the quality of... More

As soon as we saw this tea room my wife and I knew we had to try it out. A fabulous eatery set in an historic building in the picturesque Chipping Campden. The food lived up to expectation too, although the servings were so generous I'm glad I didn't go with my first instinct and order cake from the delicious... More

A weekend break to Statford Upon Avon ending with a slight detour to Chipping Camden and a visit to this lovely tea room. It is quite small but has a garden to take the over flow.We visited on a wasp invasion in the area so stayed inside. They have a good selection of teas and coffee to choose from to go... More

Had delicious sandwiches in a nice olde world atmosphere. For drinks we had some Luscombe farm ginger beer and lemonades, really excellent, had this before but you don't often come across it. The cakes were home made and looked really nice, but no room left for them!

Of the local tea rooms it was the most expensive for the smallest portions and smallest cup of coffee. My husband had a slice of quiche which came with 3 baby potatoes for £10.25. Whilst size isn't everything and quality important he was left hungry. The cafe had great reviews and perhaps the cakes/scones are great.

We had tea and scones. The tea was great and the scones were delightful. Lots of staff, very friendly and nice to be served with a smile. Oldy worldy atmosphere, beams, oak furniture etc. and on a hot day it was relatively cool. We ate inside but there is a garden at the rear. Well done to all the staff... More

Lovely tea and scone. Probably the best scone I've ever had. Nice friendly staff and good menu choice.
