Cosy Cotswold inn with decent food

The Seagrave Arms is a comfortable, slightly up-market Cotswolds inn in Weston sub edge. Most is given over to dining but there is a small snug for just drinks. Dinner started with a free mini malty loaf with salted butter. A nice little touch. For starters I had a Dorset crab risotto with... read more

Lovely spot, friendly staff, and super menu - limited but we all wanted everything! Local old spotted pig, smoked salmon salad, cold pea soup, duck, chicken terrine filled us up but was paved so nicely we had room for dessert - cheese, banana caramel pudding and eaton mess. Short but well chosen and well priced wine list.

We had booked a table on Friday evening and on arrival we were allowed to choose any of the tables for two which was nice. We ordered wine and the waitress brought over the wrong bottle. The food was very tasty - although my husband ordered the T bone steak at £32 and it was over cooked but he wouldn't... More

Dear delacourt, Thank you for taking the time to review the Seagrave. Apologies that we did not meet your expectations, as you can see from many other lovely reviews this is not up to our usual standard. We do focus on quality produce, not on the price when we buy our food, so sorry if this seems expensive for you,... More

Slow but friendly service. Interesting gastro menu but also pub classics such as fish and chips. Fish and chips great but steak tough.

Thank you verity554 for your review for us. We do try to cater for everyone and we're pleased to read that this was the case when you visited.
