Cosy Cotswold inn with decent food

The Seagrave Arms is a comfortable, slightly up-market Cotswolds inn in Weston sub edge. Most is given over to dining but there is a small snug for just drinks. Dinner started with a free mini malty loaf with salted butter. A nice little touch. For starters I had a Dorset crab risotto with... read more

We had booked a table on Friday evening and on arrival we were allowed to choose any of the tables for two which was nice. We ordered wine and the waitress brought over the wrong bottle. The food was very tasty - although my husband ordered the T bone steak at £32 and it was over cooked but he wouldn't... More

Slow but friendly service. Interesting gastro menu but also pub classics such as fish and chips. Fish and chips great but steak tough.

Tried out this hotel/restaurant a couple of miles out of Chipping Camden which has a rosette for its food. However, we were not impressed. We ordered a first course of salmon fillet which was small and rather I exciting. The waitress brought us a miniature loaf and a pat of butter on a slate which she announced was Treacle bread with... My husband and I live fairly local to this pub and thought we'd have a light lunch here for his birthday. However DO NOT order their sandwiches. They are shown on their lunch/bar menu (in fact there are only two choices) so we ordered the cheese. When it was arrived I was shocked to see some dried up sliced white... More

Thank you Massimo B for your lovely review. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the meat, we try extremely hard to source great local products. We do have a smaller menu so that we can concentrate on quality and we're ever so sorry a couple of options were sold out. Being as this is our first year at the Seagrave,... More
