Saturday quick lunch was very good so we returned for another meal. A fabulous Sunday lunch. All three courses were cooked to perfection. Homemade excellence. The best meal out in 15 years plus. Service at the bar and table was impeccable. Highly recommended.

We drove up from Southampton today to take my Mother-in-law out for a birthday lunch. We had not booked anywhere but whilst driving around came across the Seagrave. I have to say it was not just a treat for her but for us as well!! Firstly the staff were attentive and friendly. The menu was interesting and a little different.... More

Staying in the small village of Weston sub Edge, we naturally gravitated to the only pub within easy walking distance. It isn't really a place for casual drinking (unless the weather is warm enough to take advantage of the pleasant outside areas) as the bar is tiny. Most of the pub is given over to food, served on a wide... More

Came here to celebrate my sons achievements and left feeling disappointed. The menu was not as clear as you had to order any veg and potatoes as an extra. We turned up and was left for a long while before they took any order and didn't explain the menu ordering system. When we got the food we were disappointed and... More

It can never be easy taking over a once popular and highly acclaimed restaurant/pub.The new management at The Seagrave seemed to have pulled it off, and we are really looking forward to going back again. The menu is simple - but really tasty. My wife had the fish and chips - excellent. I had the rib eye steak (meat supplied by... More

We had been meaning to give the Seagrave Arms a try for some time so when the opportunity arose we popped in. It was clearly not a busy time and we were dealt with promptly and politely.......to start with. We chose our food from the sensibly sized menu and found it enjoyable. However, by the time we were ready to... More

We were recommended to the Seagrave Arms by local friends and we were not disappointed. Fish and chips were excellent, interesting take on fish pie, but it was very much enjoyed by those who had it. My husband's chicken dish was excellent. Small menu. Lovely surroundings. Very nice service.

Expensive and poor quality on the evening that we went. My wife asked for pink lamb and was told 'We always serve it pink Madam'. It was not served grey and tough. Our friends were mortified as they had recommended we try this pub and one of them left most of her meal too.

Went 9 of us with a 10 month old baby for Sunday lunch and food, service and surroundings were amazing. We had fish and chips, roasted beef and fish pie and it was all home-made and delicious. Just go, you will like it

We have eaten lunch twice this week and on both occasions had 'pub classics'. The quality of the food was excellent and the rest of the menu looks superb. This is new management and the first signs look very encouraging indeed.
