Tried out this hotel/restaurant a couple of miles out of Chipping Camden which has a rosette for its food. However, we were not impressed. We ordered a first course of salmon fillet which was small and rather I exciting. The waitress brought us a miniature loaf and a pat of butter on a slate which she announced was Treacle bread with... My husband and I live fairly local to this pub and thought we'd have a light lunch here for his birthday. However DO NOT order their sandwiches. They are shown on their lunch/bar menu (in fact there are only two choices) so we ordered the cheese. When it was arrived I was shocked to see some dried up sliced white... More

Dear SUEB246679, Thank you for coming into the Seagrave for your first visit. We’re sorry to hear that you did not enjoy this and was not up to your expectations. As mentioned in other reviews, we try our best to source local produce. Our current sliced white bread is from a local bakery and we shall of course pass your... More

We had meat and no complaints at all as was very tender and very tasty. Menu wasn't that large and plus many listed food from the menu were out of stock.

Thank you Massimo B for your lovely review. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the meat, we try extremely hard to source great local products. We do have a smaller menu so that we can concentrate on quality and we're ever so sorry a couple of options were sold out. Being as this is our first year at the Seagrave,... More

Now, here's the question: do you serve the people who booked for lunch, who have dined with you before and arrive on time first or do you serve the chap who pops his head round the door and says "can you do a sandwich and a drink for six of us"? We waited over 45 minutes for our starter while... More

Dear Moira H, Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us, however I would like to put across our points from yesterday lunch. I have checked the tickets from yesterdays’ lunch service, and the time difference between yours and the table of 6’s order is 2 minutes. The reason your food took longer to be served... More

Went for a wedding anniversary dinner so dimmed lighting could be seen as appropriate, but there is dimmed and then there's dark! Service was friendly and the wine excellent - though champagne by the glass wouldn't go amiss. The food tasted fine, but it would be all the nicer if you could see it properly! Local produce so to be... More

Visited with a group of 8 for Mothers day, staff were extremely accommodating seeing as we booked late in the week and requested to eat late in the afternoon. A second visit to The Seagrave Arms confirmed my first impression that this is definitely a pub/restaurant worthy of a visit. Decor and design are impressive and totally appropriate for a Cotswold country pub but car parking and space in the Bar are somewhat limited. Choice of beers and wines is excellent and the menu is excellent with a small... More

We stayed for dinner, bed and breakfast. Dinner was good (though too much salt on the chicken), and breakfast was even better - a superb fruit salad, and a cooked breakfast of good ingredients (though the sausages are a little too 'meaty' for breakfast, if that makes sense. A plain pork sausage would be better). All staff were very helpful;... More
