Plesent atmosphere decor a little dated the food was ok nothing special & a little pricey for what was on offer.
Arrived and sat on comfortable chairs in a small lounge area, ordered drinks and studied the menu( there is something for everyone on the menu ) The owner was very welcoming and took us to our table downstairs shortly after which our meals arrived. The decor was typically Italian and the ambience was relaxed ( many of the diners were regulars... More
Fancied a change from pub menu's whilst in Chipping Camden and was tempted by the 'Specials Board' outside. What a find. The host was extremely charming and was cracking gentle one liners to all customers throughout the evening. The food was of an extremely high standard and the choice was varied. Prices were extremely reasonable. If you are staying in... More
A fab welcome will await you at this Italian. I love it here, the decor is very 80's and you will still receive a flambé at the table, however, Danny is superb, friendly and a great character. Go for the pasta and let Danny decide the wine. A real experience!
The menu is quite varied with the usual pasta dishes and some interesting specials. Our starters of Scallops and Cannoli were well prepared and full of flavour. Our main courses were the Chateaubriand for two persons which was more medium to well done than medium rare but still enjoyable and the whole duck for two persons which again was slightly... More
As has been said on here, Caminetto does at first glance appear a little dated with its homely if unspectacular décor but the food was really good and the staff attentive and pleasant. Our main courses were very tasty - a succulent sole and really flavoursome kidneys flambed and cooked at the table. The atmosphere was quite pleasant and more... More
Had a very pleasant midweek evening meal here. Some locals were in - always a good sign. Yes. as other reviews indicate, the decor is tired, but the food was fine & staff attentive.
We happened to encounter Caminetto by chance. It looked a bit too quiet when some of the other restaurants along the same street were busy, but we were glad to have walked through their door. The staff were very attentive and polite, and food was very tasty and of good value.
Booked this for our party of 10 whilst we were staying in Chipping Campden. Our first choices was fully booked therefore this was our last choice. But how lucky we were, this place was fantastic! Staff were so friendly and efficient. Food was absolutely amazing. Recommend this place 100%.
