Great service, Excellent ambiance

Discovered it quite by chance. We had visited the Red Lion but then changed our mind asked the server that we wanted Indian cuisine. She recommended this place to us. It is situated as an appendage to the Volunteer Inn and on its rear. Ably served by a Mr. Noor, who thoughtfully suggested... read more

We enjoyed the food we ordered. Not sure if it was just the night we were there, but there seemed to be a lot of confusion about who was going to be our server, taking our orders, getting drinks, etc. When we finally got our bill we just took it up to the counter to pay because it was not... More

We were lucky to get a table as we'd not booked but the staff were so pleasant and accommodating. Food was lush.

The menu is quite extensive, and the food we ordered was lovely! Great flavours and aromas. The only down side is the service is slow and the waiters didn't seem to understand everything.

Came here on a Tuesday night which is the night for the special appetizer and entree for 9.99 pounds. Place was very busy and the server was overwhelmed. Food was great when it arrived and we had mixed starter and various dishes.

The place was clean inviting and interesting. We had a choice of table's (we dine early in the evening). By the time we left the place was full. The food was great, huge portions, what we couldn't eat was put into tinfoil dishes, covered, and placed in a bag for us to take home. Waiters were very polite and friendly.... More
