I have been here a number of times recently, and I must say the curry is great! The restaurant always seems to be busy, especially at weekends. Really enjoyable food, I can recommend the Dhansak.

This little restaurant attached to the back of a pub was not really what we were expecting. It was quite 90's looking in design and being able to see the pub through was a little off putting. It didn't feel seperate enough really when you're charging £12+ for a main course. We both had lamb starters my husbands lamb chops... More

After a long weekend filled with pub meals, we needed something different. Who knew that we'd find such amazing Indian food in the tiny town of Chipping Campden. Service was very professional, and their recommendations were needed as the menu is far too big. Everything we ordered was very yummy, and fairly authentic. Prices are super cheap, for both food... We live here and this is our go-to for Indian food. It rates up there with our favorite places in London, it's that good. I've read some comments about the spice levels and it's true, it's not as spicy (I love it very spicy). In fairness, they have to cater to tourists who may not like it as spicy as... More

The food here is alright. We had ordered a couple of curries and some naan breads! The curries were alright a bit mild for taste bud but the Naans awful and had a lot of butter on it so that kind of killed the naan experience for us. And also the service staff was very blunt, like they didn't care... More

Contrary to what was an off-putting review in Rick Steves book, we found this to be a very nice Indian restaurant with many choices at all spice levels. Attentive service rounds out a nice experience.

Ordered a takeaway for four of us and couldn't fault the quality of the food or the service. The food was ready exactly at the time stated and very pleasant staff too. Would definitely use this place again. The mixed tandoori special comes well recommended.

It is surreal to sit behind a 19th century pub in a Cotswolds village and eat papadoms and paneer tika. But who cares? The food was wonderful and the service excellent. After a day of walking the Cotswolds Way, we were starving and this was perfect, easily comparable to India itself. They do a big take-away business if you'd rather... More

Came here in August with my wife, mother and sister-in-law. The guy who runs this place, Foonkie (sp?), is a real gentleman (he took the time to make a nice take home dinner for my nephew who was at home and not feeling well). The food here was delightful - my mother usually shies away from this kind of food,... More
