Happy friendly pub, awkward to find first time, but worth the effort. Good food and atmosphere. Classic cars meet on Bank Holidays.

At last - we have found somewhere in the Doncaster area that dishes up a decent lunch using quality produce, cooked well. It's definitely worth the detour both for the food and surroundings. Roast SIRLOIN cooked pink and potatoes that are roasted rather than deep fried - what a lovely change!
I have visited the Angel Inn numerous times with family and friends and never once have I left not being fully satisfied with either the food or the atmosphere.
This is an excellent country pub in the small village of Misson near Doncaster. Its a real locals pub, with good real ales on tap. In addition it provides a high standard of food. This can be eaten in the bar area or in a light, airy conservatory at the back of the pub. The bar staff are very welcoming...

We recently went with friends for a lovely meal. The owner was in the bar which apparently he usually is. I really loved the wine glass and when my husband asked if he could buy it he just had to put a donation in for Bluebell Wood Hospice. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and the service was excellent

First time at this retaurant and found it very friendly, the menu is not extensive but a good range to suit all. The main courses were excellent - my husband and daughter both had fish and chips and I have a chicken breast with a brandy and cream sauce - it was supposed to be a red wine sauce but...

We dropped in last night by chance, our first visit. Sat by the lovely fire. Great choice of food, all home made, nicely presented and tasted great. Lovely staff and owner. Nice atmosphere. Recommend and will be back with friends and family.
My wife and I met up with some friends for one of their birthdays and one of the friends had stumbled upon this place by accident a few weeks before. We arrived on a Saturday lunch time and the pub looked as though it was shut, but when we enquired and peeped in the door a hearty welcome awaited. It...
