Great Japanese Cuisine. Teppanyaki a must

Very nice Japanese restaurant in Lancaster which is great as our family loves Japanese cooking. They do Teppanyaki which we enjoy enormously.

I went to Miyabi last Saturday for my partners birthday meal. What a great experience the chef that cooked our food was superb and made it a great evening. The service was a little slow but it was great value for money. I would recommend this place to anyone!

We visited for a friends birthday and first impressions were not great, the restaurant looks dated and is in need of a facelift.. That being said, the food was fantastic and the chef cooking in front of us was very entertaining. I would definitely recommend this place for the food and experience, just don't judge it on first looks

My nephew's birthday favourite, the teppenyaki chefs are great, always put on a show and involve the diners, the food is good with a nice atmosphere to match

The staff was friendly but that was the only good thing. The place smell of dust the carpet was horrible with stains and defenitely older than me. We decide to pick the sushi boat as picture on the menu as we had our little boys with us and they wanted to see the food to be served on a boat.... More

I wish it was better as i absolutely love sushi and would be a regular. The venue lacks atmosphere and need money spending on it. The service isn't great and all very serious. The sushi doesn't compare to other places I have been. Its always been quiet on the 3 occassions iv been over the last 6 mths.

Visited with a friend for some sushi and udon - no booze. Sushi was saddening. The noodles were just abhorrent. Worst Japanese food we ever had, and we paid 50 quid. We won't go back.

You were warmly and politely welcomed, despite being a little late in the evening, unlike other restaurants already closed [early?] or just not interested on this weekday night. The receptionist explained the set menus and options. The Splash Diablo seafood set meal A was chosen– with the squid substituted with some more scallops… A nice starter of King Prawn in... More

Always good food and good staff. Love the chefs. But lacks a certain ambience. Needs music and a few pictures to give it some character.

Came here with a group after always being curious. Menu wasn't very clear and there was no explanation from staff about what was to come. Placing our orders we felt rushed by the waiting staff. Consequently I ordered far less than I wanted, portion sizes are small, I was sat watching my companions eating different taster courses while waiting for... More
