Dined this eve for our 14th wedding anniversary, service and staff great. Very welcoming . Food was nice and good portions , only disappointed in the desert. Had a pavlova, and my meringue was so hard it was impossible to chew or cut, at one point a piece flew off my plate it was that hard to cut, so just... More

Having had a good experience at the Kendal branch I took my wife to Lancaster. The decor in both branches is similar, recently done and quite pleasing. The food likewise is of a decent standard if not the best. I thought the starters were more varied than in many places. I had chicken livers on lightly toasted cantata. However, the... More

Went for a meal at Paulo Giannis in Lancaster on Sunday night, the restaurant is lovely and creates a good atmosphere. I had Panchetta which was delicious, the Peroni went down well too. Staff were friendly and attentive and prices were reasonable. Good night out !

My wife and I recently visited Lancaster and when looking for somewhere to have dinner came across Paulo Giannis Italian Restaurant. My wife chose the Bream special and I had a Pizza. Everything was well cooked along with our choice of deserts and overall the price was reasonable.

The first time I visited the food was fantastic. The second time it wasn't the best. We called in for lunch I had a past dish which was just like a packet pasta and sauce with large chunks of ham and a few mushroom. It was completely tasteless. My mothers pizza was nice as were the chips. I think the... More

Went here couple of months ago with friends, wasn't impressed, reserved our seats, got there on time and had to stand up for half an hour to be seated. Once we was seated, ordered food it came, i had lasagne and chilli garlic bread as a starter, food was average at best. Best part was the chilli garlic bread. Much... More

The staff are friendly and efficient, the food is good, and there are always a lot of people here. Standard pizza/pasta fare, but tasty. It can get quite noisy, so good it you want a lively atmosphere but not somewhere to go if you want a quiet romantic meal. They do super-cheap deals early in the evening, and that is... More
