My wife and I ate here and the food was absolutely fabulous! The atmosphere was also first class. The service was good, unobtrusive and polite. There is a lovely bar next door for pre or post drinks. A gem of a restaurant for Lancaster.

I have eaten here several times since it opened, as a couple and with small groups of 3 / 4. Each time the standards have been different, the food is consistently good which is why we keep going back but there is definitely room for improvement with the service and overall experience. The last time I ate here was last... More

Lancaster has it's fair share of Italian restaurants, this one just seems a little bit classier than most. Outside and inside the appearance is good. After being a huge Spag House fan a friend convinced me to visit Paulo giannis with her as she insisted I would enjoy it. And while I agree the restraunt itself is pretty and well decorated, it lacked a few things.. It was chilly when we sat down. They've got these weird straw bulky chairs in the centre area -... More

I had intended to visit another Trip Advisor recommended Italian restaurant in Lancaster but found it closed for refurbishment so visited Paulo Giannis instead. The service was good, my order was swiftly taken and a delicious ham and pineapple pizza brought. This had the right mixture of generous topping and crispy base. The ice cream sundae that followed was scrumptious.... More
