The Clarendon is many things to many people. An income, a vocation, a noose; a front room to a motley crue of divorced career drinkers, and a place to drink, eat and enjoy the company of friends and strangers to Leamington's and Warwickshire county's more discerning good eggs.Independently owned since 2008, The Clarendon has catered to folk seeking great food, drink, a great soundtrack and a warm welcoming atmosphere for, well since 2008...and we have enjoyed the ride...hop on!

Third visit in a few weeks

The sunday roast sharing platter is the best roast I have ever had outside of someone's home. It was on par with something you'd make yourself and be very pleased with. Optional sides like mash potatos and cauliflower cheese are a winner too. We both have healthy appetites and we were more than... read more

Booked a table to eat but was near a snooker table, so asked if we could move to another table. Managed eventually to secure another seat which felt like we were blacklisted. Waiters came and went but not to our table, even called the male waiter near to us but was ignored. Diners at another table called on our behalf... More

Such a great little local, great bar staff, Clean & tidy, nice cocktails, good atmosphere on weekends, quirky place and great to go to play pool & table tennis. We're usually here once every 2 weeks, we really enjoy going to play pool, have a drink and occasionally eat there. Its a little quiet in the week however not a... More

Brilliant little bar you would never know it's there! Quality tunes playing whatever time / day you go in. Bar staff really frendly. Gets really busy might not be the best place for you if you dont like confined spaces.

Nice pub, a little pricey but do offer different events and such which justifies this. Big name DJs and artists which play regularly. Great quiz on a Wednesday!

This pub is always busy and bustling with either people playing pool, eating, drinking doing the quiz night or a music event. Food is quite nice here and the staff are attentive. My only criticism would be sometimes it's a little loud and not enough cosy areas you can hide into. But this is being picky.

What's more your £3.60 pint is served at Arctic temperatures, crucifying the work of local brewers .. oh .. and you get a smile for your money in London, much better value/quality elsewhere,

We have been here many times & the food is always consistently good. We took the children yesterday for some mothers day lunch & whilst the food was good the staff let it down. Our 'waitress' was quite rude not speaking to us apart from to plonk the food down & she said literally said nothing at all when she... More

Stumbled across Clarendons whilst on a weekend in Leamington catching up with a friend. We had a few drinks in the afternoon and decided to go back in the evening for food. The pub is rustic and quite basic inside, but we loved it, and the food was very good. Would recommend.

Very happy to hear that Ben and the team are staying on here - probably the best pub in Leamington. Attentive friendly staff, honest grub, good beer and plenty of other stuff to drink.
