The Clarendon is many things to many people. An income, a vocation, a noose; a front room to a motley crue of divorced career drinkers, and a place to drink, eat and enjoy the company of friends and strangers to Leamington's and Warwickshire county's more discerning good eggs.Independently owned since 2008, The Clarendon has catered to folk seeking great food, drink, a great soundtrack and a warm welcoming atmosphere for, well since 2008...and we have enjoyed the ride...hop on!

Great student pub but the mother-in-law may struggle to choose something on the menu

The menu is not big - burgers, nachos etc, but it is excellent quality and good value. There is a lot of competition in this space but the Claz is better than average. This pub has atmosphere in spades but maybe is not the best place to take your mother-in-law. Add a jacket spud or two!!

Having ordered two pints of real ale (a brand and beer I drink quite often) that when poured was clearly off the bar staff disagreed and attempted to tell me there was nothing wrong. Having changed drinks a few minutes later they changed the barrel with no apology which I found very rude. The whole experience was uplifted by vey... More

The salad bowl with the sweet potato and mixed bean chilli and the American cheese topping is to die for!

It tends to be my work mates place of choice for drinks and stuff but I think it's very overpriced for what it is - both for drinks and food. Typical food as well; burgers and pints, yeah. On the same road you'll find the Fox and Vivian - better food for less money although it's a lot smaller and... More

Always enjoy visiting this pub/restaurant/bar, it ticks all the boxes. Great atmosphere, excellent service, friendly staff, delicious food, good choice of beers n ales! This is without doubt the best bar in Leamington, whether out for a good drink n a dance with friends or a quiet drink with the other half, you can't go wrong at The Clarendon!

We have visited here a few times as a family with small children and have always had a great meal.. This time was no exception. For the first time my children had the children's menu, 2 courses which included's pizza, burgers, burritos all with chips, peas, salad or rice and a pudding which was either pecan pie or orange chocolate... The Clarendon pulled out all their stops and served up truly superb 3 course Christmas meals for 28 office colleagues. I had the Bedf Wellington, which was full of flavour and very tender. The starter and desert were also equally good. All in all a great enjoyable event!

The food is excellent and my wife loves the cocktails, especially the 7 deadly gins. Can't wait to go back again.

Owner Ben very kindly squeezed us for a pre-ordered christmas set menu for 9 people on Thursday last week. We arrived at 5PM and our table was set beautifully with candles and crackers and a lovely ambience filled the whole pub. We grabbed a few drinks (2-4-1 cocktails were a great deal!) and sat at our table chatting. We were... More

Always a great atmosphere here, and the beer garden is hands down the best place to be in summer; you can always catch the last few rays of sunshine. In winter it's always nice and cosy too, and the staff are always really friendly and welcoming. Whilst living in Leamington, I spent a lot of time here, drinking way too... More
