The atmosphere is very nice and the tea served is very good with a great variety of types. The cakes are of cheap quality (bought on lidl or aldi)...go there for tea...nothing else.

Been again to mystery tea house and was greeted with such a sincere welcome .. The atmosphere is tranquil, full of positivity and always calming . I can't rate this place enough and go at least every 2 weeks from blackpool. The food is amazing and so tasty . Thankyou for being the BEST you truly deserve your business .....

A friend recommended I try this tea house for lunch. I had wild mushroom soup, which was very good, and accompanied by plenty of quality bread and butter. I was made so welcome that I will definitely return to try one of their hundreds of exotic teas. They also have discussions on interesting topics from time to time.

Small business like the Mystery Tea House are just what Preston needs if it is to have any justification of thinking itself a diverse city, and have any pride in the variety of places it’s residents can eat, drink and socialise. Having said that, my major gripe is that a Tea House, especially one with a New Age slant should... More

Excellent food we both had chicken wraps which came with homemade garlic dip and lovely greek side salad. V friendly welcoming staff. Would definately visit again. A great choice of teas to drink we had ordinary tea but seemed to be every flavour under the sun.

I have frequented the Mystery shop since it first opened. It has a great atmosphere reminiscent of the tea shops you find in Prague and Budapest. The Tea shop has a huge range of teas to chose from. I like the flowering blossom ones which open out in the teapot. You can sit here on stuffed sofas reading your newspaper... More

We called in for a warming drink on a cold day. The choice of teas was incredible and the menu had lots of information about them. We enjoyed a Ginger Tea and a Morocco Mint and bought some to take home. We did not have the time to try the interesting dishes on the menu but we will return to... More

This was recommended by a friend and I happily took her advice. On entering we were welcomed warmly and recommended to sit upstairs. Lovely decor, relaxing music and very friendly service from all servers. Tea was served very nicely with fresh lemon and honey and the fresh juices were tasty. My 'New Yorker' toastie was one of the nicest toasties... More

The range of tea is amazing and food healthy unusual fresh a d fantastic, but the thing I liked best was its individuality. I think of a tea room as a bit middle aged - fine, becase I am! - but this was young and vibrant - on the hip side with lovely informed and enthusiastic staff. The young waiter... More

I thoroughly enjoy coming here. The food is tasty and the choice of teas is amazing. The staff greet customers like old friends and are always helpful and cheerful. This teahouse is a lovely little gem in the centre of Preston.I would definitely urge people to give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
