This was recommended by a friend and I happily took her advice. On entering we were welcomed warmly and recommended to sit upstairs. Lovely decor, relaxing music and very friendly service from all servers. Tea was served very nicely with fresh lemon and honey and the fresh juices were tasty. My 'New Yorker' toastie was one of the nicest toasties... More

The range of tea is amazing and food healthy unusual fresh a d fantastic, but the thing I liked best was its individuality. I think of a tea room as a bit middle aged - fine, becase I am! - but this was young and vibrant - on the hip side with lovely informed and enthusiastic staff. The young waiter... More

I thoroughly enjoy coming here. The food is tasty and the choice of teas is amazing. The staff greet customers like old friends and are always helpful and cheerful. This teahouse is a lovely little gem in the centre of Preston.I would definitely urge people to give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Whenever visiting Preston we prefer to lunch at the Mystery Tea House where we have always received a warm welcome, attentive service and delicious food and drink. The quality of the food is exceptional and the prices are very competitive.

Me and my bf both love it here and visit quite regularly. I usually have the bora bora tea which is sweet, lemon or honey can be added to taste. Today I had the chicken wrap which was wonderful! and with a Greek salad on the side and garlic mayo it was perfect I loved it. Also I must add... More

This is an absolutely lovely little tea house hidden away down a side street. It isn't really a place to go for food, although they do have a fairly limited food menu and a few cakes. What is remarkable about this place is the tea menu. They have hundreds of types of tea to choose from and the staff are... More

I have been here twice now and figured it was about time I stop telling everyone I know about it and write it down on here also. The first time I went I had a beautiful sandwich and side salad followed by cake and a big jug of the peach iced tea - it was delicious. The second time I... More

We found the Tea House by chance when we were in Preston.. As soon as we entered the place we were greeted straight away to take a seat and they'd be right with us.. We were after a quick bit to eat. I opted with my friend to have the chicken wrap with Greek salad. My other friend opted for... More
