A hidden gem within the city of Preston is an understatement. Cute and unique place, totally different from everywhere else, with a relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of tea to choose from to either take away or drink in. Wide range of options on the food menu including that for GLUTEN FREE! Prices are fantastic for the portion sizes here and defiantly... The food is to die for, the atmosphere is tranquil and the staff are all delightful. The prices are brilliant and its extremely nice to see so many gluten free options within the menu. The only thing I find when I come here, which is often, is that the service is very very slow. It is nice to not feel... More

Friendly staff, the best teas and very affordable :) The Prince of Persia tea is my favourite! A visit is essential to tea lovers! You can buy loose tea to take home :)

Last visited about two years and thought it was a bit unusual, put off a bit by the huge selection of teas and took far too long to decide, and didn't really feel it was my type of place. However as friends love this place came back today for a long overdue catch up and so glad I did. The... More

Always enjoy a trip here this unique little tea shop, with very friendly staff who will help you find the right taste. I've sampled the food a few times and I do like the cakes and there lunch menu is a refreshing change from most places.

Preston is developing an excellent range of individual "eating places" . The Mystery Tea House is a prime example. Then variety and range of teas is exceptional plus good cakes and other drinks, in particular the fruit juices. A lovely friendly welcome across 2 floors and an intriguing quirky setting. You'll never go to any ordinary tea shop again.

Been here a number of times and always find enjoyable, from the service to the menu and obviously the wide range of teas. Stumbled across this place by accident originally but definitely the place to come if in preston and want to avoid the aray of comercial venues.

The mystery tea house is hidden away from the mad bustle of Preston on Cannon street, however once inside the quirky decor and very warm friendly and knowledgeable staff take you to another place. The breadth of teas available runs to over 5 pages with descriptions for each type. The Prince of persia with orange, almond, cinamon, cloves and anise served with... More
