Visited for the first time today and was very impressed by the friendly staff, vast range of teas and lovely food. Very quirky and out of the ordinary.

I was disappointed on my last visit. Table was dirty, waited ages for my order to be taken and then another age for food to be brought. Not the best when you've got a "Hangry" child in tow. I've always enjoyed the tea here (immense choice) but I doubt this will be my first choice for a sandwich/snack in future.

I visted here in January 2015, with friends, before visiting I had never heard of this place, I was pleasently suprised. The was a great choice of tea and coffee. I had the strawberry and chocolate tea, which was great, the taste was not what I expected but still very nice. All the staff were very nice and cheerful. There... More

Love this place. It's not just the many different tad too choose from but the great menu of wholesome food and the lovely staff. Quirky and a very welcome change from the norm. Well worth s visit.

This place is so warm and welcoming, great for meeting up with friends. The tea is amazing (my favourite is fantasia!) and it comes in absolutely beautiful little tea pots and tea cups. The food is brilliant as well, the Hunters Stew is one of the nicest meals I have ever eaten, and the soup is always really good too.... More

The atmosphere is very nice and the tea served is very good with a great variety of types. The cakes are of cheap quality (bought on lidl or aldi)...go there for tea...nothing else.

A friend recommended I try this tea house for lunch. I had wild mushroom soup, which was very good, and accompanied by plenty of quality bread and butter. I was made so welcome that I will definitely return to try one of their hundreds of exotic teas. They also have discussions on interesting topics from time to time.

Small business like the Mystery Tea House are just what Preston needs if it is to have any justification of thinking itself a diverse city, and have any pride in the variety of places it’s residents can eat, drink and socialise. Having said that, my major gripe is that a Tea House, especially one with a New Age slant should... More
