It's Zizzi's

Up to Zizzi's standard which is good. You pay a little more but you get quality. The garlic bread is exceptional and the spiced pizza right up amongst the best. Service could do with being a bit sharper but that was down to the limited staff on, but that is only a minor gripe. Overall it was very... read more

This Italian restaurant is difficult to describe. I’m spending many weeks per year in Italy, so know the kitchen pretty well, from different regions. Now, you can’t expect the same quality from a chain in the UK. However, my first course was something that we in Holland describe as “bitterballs” but now filled with rice. Strange. The risotto I had... More

I have eaten at this restaurant before and really enjoyed the food. However often when you return a second time you are disappointed. This was not the case with ZIZZI in Solihull, the staff were helpful and the food was very tasty and well priced. The cocktails ( of which there are specials on the board) were innovative and good!

We were tired and hungry, and had been to 5 restaurants already which were all fully booked. We were greeted by a waiter who practically told us how busy they were and not to expect great service. Not a good start, especially as half the tables were empty. As we were desperate to sit down we stayed, but couldn't help... More

This was a very quiet evening on a weekday. About 4 tables dining ( it was an early dinner though about 6pm) the food was ok! We had the sharer starter and both had pizza for main course. Nothing spectacular but nothing awful either.

Decided to come here Sunday lunchtime after shopping. Hadn't booked and was expecting to be told that they were fully booked, however at 2 in the afternoon there was only 4 other customers in the place. As others have mentioned service is slow don't know if this is meant to be that way or if service is generall poor. The... More

The menu descriptor reads: "Whole Buffala Mozzarella" I received perhaps half. When I got up to mention it I was told they would bring out more? I explained that it was ok but that I wouldn't be paying the Whole price as it was not as described. At no point did anyone come and see the complaint, it was hastily... More

This place was amazing as a form of frustrating entertainment. Admittedly we went to this restaurant (4 people) on a Saturday night - pre booked. However I have never experienced such service - ignoring the customer and so, so slow. It is so slow and impossible to find a waiter that it simply cannot be accidental! It must be a... More

how to ruin a 21st birthday! Staff are unfriendly and ignore you, didn't even wish my daughter a Happy Birthday. The waitress was abrupt and scary when taking our order, no smile. There is no atmosphere in the restaurant whatsoever, Food so so, starters bigger than expected. The spaghetti carbonara was inedible as it was swimming in oil and the... More
