We won a raffle voucher to come here and glad we did. The food was as described, the waiting staff polite and well mannered. A lovely location but be prepared to spend if you come here. I'ts certainly at the top end of the mid range price band and careful with the drinks as they ARE expensive.

We were staying at the hotel so decided to book a table in the restaurant. Food and service was fantastic. Waitresses very polite, steak cooked to liking and succulent. Sauce a bit salty but still tasty. Couldn't fault the evening and nice atmosphere so booked a table for our 2nd night's stay. Unfortunately food and service not as great. Took... More

Treated to an afternoon tea as a birthday gift. Absolutely delicious! Fresh selection of sandwiches, scrumptious (& big!) Cakes and scones with cream and jam. Taken with a generous pot of afternoon tea and finished off with a cool glass of champagne - perfect treat and in nice surroundings - would recommend for a special occasion!

Maybe Monday night is the chef's night off, as this was one of the worst buffets I have experienced. Nothing wrong with the starter salad. The pork, however, was so dry I could not eat much. Overcooked vegetables, tired roast potatoes and uninteresting desserts. Could try much harder

Was looking for somewhere in Tewkesbury to go for a afternoon tea and a Google search led me to Puckrup Hall on afternoontea.co.uk Booking online was swift and easy. We arrived and were given a lovely window seat. The afternoon tea was divine. A selection of sandwiches, cakes and lovely warm scones. I have deducted some marks that led to... More

Had dinner in with the package - food is amazing only thing they should consider is changing the menu daily or every other day as same choices two days running can be an issue.

This is the Howtel Restauarant for the Hilton Puckrup Hall Hotel. As such, it is family friendly and has a varied and well designed menu which caters for all. Pleasant well appointed surroundings, comfortable, good service and tasty food. Great breakfast if you are staying in the hotel.

Menu has no sides to add although you can order from the bar menu. I miss the lovely fresh breads that were complimentary whilst waiting for your meal. The set menu is unchanged all week so after a couple of nights I had exhausted my preferences and resorted to the bar menu.

We stayed just one night after a day at the races. I had the pressed ham hock with pea purée which was pretty good and my other half had the smoked haddock risotto which was absolutely delicious. I then had the calves liver and other half had beef cheek both of which were very tasty and beautifully presented. Pudding for... More
