As hotel restaurants go it was OK and reasonably priced but not great. Some food rather tasteless with too much use of shredded/pulled meats in towers for me. Puddings were not wonderful.

been meaning to write this for a while. Came for an 80th birthday early july 6 of us in total. It was booked in advance and when we arrived they said they had no booking but this was not a problem as the restaurant was virtually empty. I ordered steak and chips and asked for the steak to be cooked... More

We ate int he restaurant one night whilst staying at Hilton Puckrup Hall. Service was good despite it being very busy although a coach party staying at the hotel had the best part of the restaurant and we were led tin a corner near a table of 14 so ambience was not ideal for a quiet birthday meal for my... I took my wife here for Valentines day, we ate in the restaurant having the set menu, food was great, hardest thing was the choice, took my wife ages to order. I would recommend, I've eaten here several times now and always enjoyed it.

Interesting menu food was tasty, service attentive, only critiscism was that hot food was served on cold plates

The food and service was good for dinner, but breakfast was another matter. The hot food was served buffet-style, that is to say lukewarm and rather dried out and was more expensive than the previous (budget) hotel, where the hot food was cooked to order.

Lovely freshly cooked food, £19 for 2 courses you can't go wrong, We had a starter of Greek salad and a hock roulade. Followed by Rib Eye steak and Salmon on crush potatoes. No room for sweet - 3 courses £23. A good selection of wine too

This is a decent restaurant in the HIlton where the service levels are high. There is an option of 1,2 and 3 courses at fixed prices but there seem to be supplements on this fixed price for most of the meat dishes. Wine list started at stg20 which felt steep. My bottle cost stg28 but could be bought locally for... More

Dear EuroTravellerPG , Thank you for the time taking to review Balharries Restaurant on this forum. Unfortunately our wine prices are set by the Hilton brand and we are unable to influence them locally. Whilst the prices may appear steep compared to supermarket prices they are very much in line what local hotels charge. I am pleased to share your... More
