This was my second visit to this tea room after not visiting Tewkesbury for several years. It was as good as I remembered it - the atmosphere was cosy and friendly. The service was good and the range of food offered was excellent for those looking for mainly English dishes. I will try to plan my next visit to book... More

Have been going to Crumpets for a number of years. Food good and if you want something different get in touch before you go and they will try to oblige. Lovely family atmosphere.

I regularly visit Crumpets whenever I am in the area. It is a welcoming tea room with a great menu and a changing specials board. And as a vegetarian, there is plenty on the menu for me to chose from... and lots of locally-sourced meat dishes for the carnivores! The owners and employees are so friendly and I often see... More

Went for a snack and was not overly impressed with this tea room. The waitress seemed to have a problem in understanding what was ordered and had a rather loud voice, which could be heard by everybody. The table we sat at was in line with the toilet and consequently one needed to sit close to the table. The ordered... More

We had a superb 2 course lunch for our party of 21 to celebrate Dad's 70th birthday. Nice traditional roast pork or steak kidney ale pie and a crumble, bread and butter pudding or cheesecake all home cooked, delicious! It was a nice relaxed atmosphere and we were able to sit and chat at our leisure. Excellent service and food... More

Perfect for a cup of tea with either a cream scone or crumpet, or sandwich either has they come or toasted, the tea room is very small but perfectly formed, quirkey and cosy little gem of a place

The staff were very friendly and welcoming in this cosy tea room complete with log fire. The sandwiches were good but the salad garnish was meagre, a generous salad and maybe a few potato crisps would have turned an average sandwich into a special one. I would return but may well try something else on the menu.

In our view the mark of a well run restaurant is being able to maintain service and quality standards when serving festive food. Crumpets excelled. Our group of 12 had taken over this cosy Cafe for our evening meal. Having pre-selected from a menu which catered for traditionalists, and those with a more avant garde palate, service was seamless.Seasonal table... More

This traditional tearoom has a warm atmosphere and is good value for money. The lunchtime soup was excellent (butternut squash). The Tearoom provided a good introduction to Tewkesbury for us, and we will definitely return.
