Convenient whilst staying at the Premier Inn

The best thing about the meal was the dessert - a very yummy Chocolate Chip Sundae. We went to have a meal here because we were staying at the Premier Inn which is adjacent to the Brewers Fayre. The chips were under cooked and the scampi was 'watery'.

We all had the British Cod & chips which was the best we've had in long time. The fish was white the batter crispy. The sweets were lovely. There was a good choice of beer & the bottles of wine not overpriced. My personal favourite is the Californian White Zinfandel. There is also a Chef's buffet where you pay about... More

Visited this restaurant/pub for dinner and breakfast the next day, whilst staying at the premier inn. Dinner was disappointing. The food was mediocre to say the least. However, this was not the worst issue. the restaurant was dirty! The waitress cleaned the table by sweeping the food particles onto the floor!. The worst thing was the state of the seats... More

I took my children in for Sunday breakfast. Service was ok. Breakfast looked good , tastes dire, overly salty meat products and everything else just flavourless. Shame as it looked so inviting. Two bins that were filthy sat in the restaurant near the children's play area, I'm assuming they were there for customers to use as there were instructions advising... More

Elmbury Lodge is part of the 200 strong group of Brewers Fayre Group owned by Whitbread, and as such it is what it is. It's based on a formulaic design as far as its layout, menu and prices are concerned. Elmbury Lodge was a stop on our trek north and looking for a Saturday lunch stop off the M5. The... More

Located just to the side of the hotel, this is a fairly large restaurant with a good menu, lots of choice for food and drinks and reasonably priced. A little bit short on staff on our visit but we were in no hurry so we did not mind waiting. Service was very good, food was hot and enjoyable, it was... More

We stayed at the local Premier Inn which is adjacent to this restaurant. Booked a table for 7pm. Glad we did as it was very busy. Service from all staff was excellent. Considering how busy they were, we were not kept waiting at all for any of our food. We were not rushed. but we found we were in and... More

You know what you're going to get with a Brewers Fayre, good choice, on the higher side reasonable prices, decent food and family friendly. This did not dissapoint on that front. We had to wait a while to be greated and shown to a table, getting served at the bar took even longer but the food was served hot and... More
