I've been here loads of times, whether it be with my mum and grandad for food, or with my friends or fiancee for a drink or just a nice coffee. I like the feel of the place, I like the fact anyone of any age can come here and feel comfortable on their own or in a group. I've always... read more

Came here a couple of years ago and was impressed in terms of food, atmosphere and service. This time, service very slow and non attentive. After an ok (no better) burger meal, waited ages to be offered another drink and / or a desert. It wasn't busy yet neither were forthcoming so I left. Pity really, but they have a... More

Unusual place, looks like it could have been a library or class room previously, but that does seem to add to the atmosphere. Ate here one evening after work. Managed to serve up some varied Tapas dishes, of a good quantity and quality. Bar looked well stocked with ales. Would recommend a visit and to try out the menu.

Pretty good selection of beers and food. Food is pretty standard fayre, good selection of options and nothing negative to report from the few occasions I have been. Staff are friendly and helpful and the décor is nice and clean. Agree with previous comments about the loos though, some TLC in that area of the pub would greatly improve the... More

The good first, staff ,friendly , place , really good atmosphere, cosy, comfy Beer , little bit pricey. The bad bit, the food I find can be a little bit unimaginative, not the menu , which sounds great . But the food never seems to live up to the promise. Which is a shame, because I would eat there more.

Ate here unexpectedly on Valentine's Day after stopping in for an early evening drink & saw how good the special menu was. Service was excellent & the food good & very, very plentiful. One slightly strange combo of mash & cous cous with the lamb when a few veggies would have been better. The only thing that's lets our visit... More

We only had a snack - the meat and cheese platter and it was gorgeous. There was a whole baked Camembert and olives and cold meats, also home made pate and fig chutney. Amazing. This place was warm and toasty and the staff were lovely. There is a welcoming sign outside inviting you in for morning and to meet friends.... More

We regularly eat at theocs and would highly recommend the Nachos and Chilli Dogs. The Breakfasts and American Style pancakes are always good too. Staff always friendly and attentive.

This is our local where we always meet up with friends / family, place is beautiful and you always feel welcomed when you walk in by the friendly staff especially by Selena and Alex who are always happy and friendly. I have eaten here and the food is amazing but not fine dining. There is a function room upstairs which... More

Good food from a varied menu, nice atmosphere and friendly staff add up to a good night out at Theoc House. Also good for a light lunch or a coffee during the day.
