Nice pub with a modern feel

Have been here several times, the food is nice, there is range of ales and mulled wine near Xmas. The atmosphere of the pub is comforting and enjoyable. There breakfast are lush too! Would recommend a visit. Probably the nicest pub in town.

Had a lovely pie meal on a cold winter's day - ideal. Décor is comfortable, with books on shelves, etc. Warm and welcoming

Went with family and the bar staff were really friendly and good with the kids. Excellent range of really good beers and ciders which i enjoyed. The nacho starter was really good and would recommend this with the chilli. Kids meals were also good. The only issue was that the main course took a long time to arrive. We were... More

Great place to meet friends or take the mother to for lunch. Food is good and reasonably priced, however if there's a few people in you can be waiting for what seems like a lifetime for your food. All the staff are really friendly and welcoming, and they've also recently starting allowing dogs in which is such a bonus as... More

We visited here in a Sunday morning for breakfast. It wasn't that busy, so we ordered a breakfast as we had be off within the hour. 50 minutes later my bacon sandwich and his one pot wonder was served! Was it worth the wait? Not really, nothing special.

We didn't know what to expect when we entered this restaurant as it is billed as a "Community Café". The food is different with our £6 Nachos, cheese, homemade salsa guacamole and sour cream served as an enormous potion, delicious but it realty took the edge off our main course appetite. My main course was Thai marinated beef in a... More

We love Theoc and now that the menu has changed again it is getting back to the good old Theoc. Great staff and good fancy bar food. You can take your dog too!
