1st class Indian restaurant serving beautifully cooked Bengali & Balti cuisine. We started our meal with totally frash poppadums with an exceptional selection of dips pickles & chutneys. We enjoyed a range of starters including Onion Bhajee sheek kebab and shaslickl special. Excellent main courses included a memorable Lamb Passanda - rice and breads were 1st class. everything was served piping hot by pleasnt and caring staff in clean comfortable surroundings - just one complaint and that was the coffee could have been a better quality otherwise highly recommended by an ex hotels and restaurant inspector

Probably the best Indian restaurant in Tewkesbury...............

We'd made a reservation, received a warm welcome and quick service for drinks and poppadums. Having been several times previously we know the portions here are generous - so no starters for us! All meals we've ever had here have been very good and this was again the case. The service was very... read more

My family spent £70.00 on a takeaway as the restaurant was bursting people waiting outside, after 1 hour with sincere apologies our food finally arrived. Although the manager gave us a bottle of wine on the house, the food was not as good as anticipated, very dry not worth the wait and the hype' that I have heard. I will... More

Surprisingly nice food. Have sat in and got a takeaway bit as nice as each other. Lovely staff. Good do with a bit of an update but they are limited by the building as it's very old.

Very good meal. Generous portions but spoilt by poor service. Table booked for 8.45pm and sat down with the starter at 9.50. The manager gave us a plate full of popadoms and a pickle tray at no charge. After an excellent starter and main course the nan bread ordered did not arrive until after the main course was finished so... More

Just a good all round Meal, in nice surroundings with a really good choice of meals. You need to book to get in at weekends Friday through to Sunday though.

We were only in Tewkesbury for one night and were lucky enough to get the last table in this restaurant It was only Thursday, so obviously very popular to be so full. When the food arrived we could understand why...it was delicious, just the right amount of heat for a rogan josh, and similarly the pathia that my husband had...very... More

This indian restaurant is the best. I have tried others and in different town/cities too but none of them can match the food and service standard as provided by RAJSHAHI. Best indian meal ever. I love the mango korma, lamb passanda, or the special curry's (chef special). Very tasty, rich, nicely presented too. The naan bread is nice and fluffy,... More

We usually have takeaways from this restaurant, which have been excellent. The portions are exceedingly generous, and there are always little extras included such as salad, dips, and poppadums. The atmosphere when dining there is very pleasant and the staff extremely friendly and efficient.
