1st class Indian restaurant serving beautifully cooked Bengali & Balti cuisine. We started our meal with totally frash poppadums with an exceptional selection of dips pickles & chutneys. We enjoyed a range of starters including Onion Bhajee sheek kebab and shaslickl special. Excellent main courses included a memorable Lamb Passanda - rice and breads were 1st class. everything was served piping hot by pleasnt and caring staff in clean comfortable surroundings - just one complaint and that was the coffee could have been a better quality otherwise highly recommended by an ex hotels and restaurant inspector

Excellent Curry

The wife and I was stopping in Teweksbury for the weekend and fancied a curry on the Saturday night! We dropped in on the off chance, politely we were told that they were full but could fit us in in a hour! We decided to take them up on this and what a great decision that was! The food was... read more

This place is definitely worth avoiding. They prioritise their takeaway trade over the diners in the restaurant. It's quite a nice restaurant, but there are dozens of takeaways constantly flying through the whole length of the restaurant which makes it feel very rushed and like you are in their way. We ordered our meal and the starters were okay but... More

Tend to use this Indian restaurant for eat out as they never fail to disappoint with the quality and quantity of their fayre. If you like tasty spicy, the Mr Naga chilli, you'll need a hanky!

We were in Tewkesbury for a few days and decided to go for an Asian meal. As we had not been to an Asia restaurant in the town we just took pot luck and chose the Rajshahi. Opening time was 6pm but not wanting to be on the doorstep as they were warming up we waited for a few minutes... More

I ate here on a Tuesday evening and despite being pretty busy my group without booking were fitted in. The service was very good, staff friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, I struggled to finish my meal due to the generous portions but really didn't want to waste any!

Me and 3 freinds visited after a tour of a few pubs in tewkesbury. Staff were very freindly and a good laugh. Food came promptly and was very good. We did have to ask for a nann which appeared to be missed of the order, they were very apologetic and only happy to quickly cook one. 6 pints, 1 bottle... More

With friends visiting Tewkesbury. We visit all the time but it was a first for our friends. Fantastic food as always, friendly efficient service. What more could we ask - except being cheeky and getting an extra chocolate! Thanks guys. See you soon.

I was really surprised when in this restaurant that they told us how long they had been there - decades! I have lived in the area for 13 years and had never been there or even heard of it. I am glad I have rectified this omission. This is a very good Indian restaurant. The surroundings are a bit ordinary... More
