We have eaten here a couple of times in recent years and we are always delighted by our visits. I would advise booking in advance as times of arrival are staggered to offer personal service. The two key ingredients to this restaurant's success are the imagination of its menu and the quality of cooking that then arrives in front of... More

Yesterday we were staying in Tewkesbury and booked a table after walking past and reading the very inviting menu. We have eaten in Michelin star restaurants, appreciating good food cooked with thought and passion. We were not disappointed. Starting with a muse Bouche of sweet French onion soup accompanied by delicious home baked bread, three different choices of starters including... More

Lovely food and plenty of character made for a really nice restaurant for my husband and I. No complaints at all and would recommend this to anyone. One thing to note: Sunday lunch is always popular - and why wouldn't it - so I'd recommend you book in advance.

This restaurant is currently celebrating 10 years in business with a three course lunch for £27.00, which considering the quality is very good value. With friends our meal started with a muse bouche of celeriac soup, followed by deep fried brie served with hot strawberries. Main course was Chateaubriand to share in which the steak melted in your mouth. Dessert... More

I have dined at My Great Grandfathers on many occasion for family do's and to treat the Fiancé. Matt and Shiho do an amazing job, it's a fantastic restaurant, I cannot fault the food, if you're looking for a treat, this is the place to go. The price of the food is not cheap but you get what you pay... More

A fairly large group of us went along after reading the reviews. Quirky inside, ye olde feel mixed with Chinese plastic waving cats. Very generous starters, but after being told that my first choice cut of meat was unavailable (again!) I must admit was rather disappointed with what came out in end, well overdone steak. Pricey too. Wish I could... More

I have been going to Tewkesbury annually for a number of years and watched this restaurant climb the review charts. Thanks to all those who have contributed as this is a quality restaurant which would be easy to pass. A small select menu, as always, means the food has the feel of being cooked from fresh and as such has... More

We are so pleased that we found this wonderful restaurant while on holiday in Tewkesbury. We booked a table and were welcomed by the charming co owner, she gave us plenty of time to choose what we wanted to eat, off of the small but suburb menu. We were given a small bowl of soup, and a freshly baked home... More

We had a lovely evening in the delightful company of our new neighbours, invited to join them at their favourite restaurant and what better way to get to know our only neighbours given we live out in the sticks! In addition to which they are the inventors of the original Tewkesbury Mustard so they have great taste! If I say... More
