My wife and I were surprised to find such lovely food on our doorstep - why hadn't we tried this before. My prawn cocktail was one of the best I have ever had! It's not the cheapest restaurant but well worth it - a great place to go for a special occasion. We will definitely return.

We took a German friend to this restaurant and we were all most impressed. All the food was freshly cooked so a wait was to be expected and we were not disappointed. The scallops were as good as anything we have had in Cornwall, and the soufflés with real Tewkesbury mustard were a treat. Main course pork out of this... More

Food choice was limited for vegetarians. Dishes way overpriced for quality of food and service. Food very average and do not recommend any of the souffle courses. Service again was average couldnt complain about anything but it is over hyped and over priced

First time at this restaurant , was so impressed , family run , husband and wife team , husband cooks and his wife is front of house . Nothing was too much trouble , we had a lovely complimentary amuse bouche of mushroom soup with red pepper home made bread , I had duck, which wasn't too fatty as it... More

Wonderful evening. Front of house are very attentive yet not intrusive. The scallops were out of this world with their Japanese influenced dressing/sauce, and the lamb was one of the nicest pieces of meat we have ever had. Service was at a nice pace, not rushed with time to take in the lovely surroundings. Would certainly visit again if in... More

We were checking out Tewksbury as a possible place to live and this restaurant constituted a strong positive. We'd certainly be regulars if we lived locally. Food was delicious - the delightful waitress/proprietress, wife of the chef, brought us an outstanding mushroom soup and home baked warm loaf as an "amuse bouche" - sufficiently substantial to act as a very... Every year we visit a Steam Show near here. We found this restaurant four years ago, and look forward to a meal. I wish it were nearer, they never fail to please. From last year I looked forward to the pork with little toffe apples, it was well worth the wait, cannot describe the softness of the pork, the souffle... More

Once a year we have to travel to near Tewkesbury and have sometimes stayed in the area. Four years ago we did this and ate by chance at this place and had a wonderful meal. I recall having a lamb shank. This year we were back and my wife booked to eat here again as a surprise for me. Initially... More
