The food at the Malabar is always great and the service attentive. The food is flavourful rather than purely relying on spice - it's nice to be able to have both!! Ate here last night with a friend. I had a vegetarian combination of paneer and aloo gobi- absolutely gorgeous. Good service, lovely atmosphere, spotlessly clean. A winner!

good service, good food, just gets a little noisy with big groups, but that's normal now everywhere and not the restaurants fault

We had a takeaway for New Year's Eve. Everything was great. The food tasted fantastic, friendly guy doing the delivery and two mains, 2 chapatis and something else for twenty quid.

I visited the Malabar for the first time on Boxing Day. It was a family meal and we were all made to feel very welcome and treated like old friends, I shall be a regular user from now on

Visited Malabar with a group of our friends on a Saturday night, it was our first time, though our friends are regulars and had booked a table ,which , from the amount of customers there , seemed a wise move ! The food and service were excellent , a variety of starters , mains and deserts were ordered by our... More

My wife and I have enjoyed this restaurant for many years now the staff are all excellent and especially moh who is very attentive to your every need. The food is one of the best in the area and I would find it hard to find anywhere that wood beat their quality and friendliness. Food prices are between £7 to... More

I eat at this restaurant occasionally when in Walsall, but I have to say it is always a treat. The food is exceptionally good. The menu is wide ranging and varied, the choice is amazing. Whatever I order, I cannot help looking at other guests food because it is so good and the chef is so creative. The service is... More

First time I went was in September with friends food was very good and the service also. The second and last was November the waiters infact I'm sure the staff have changed were very rude and chewing gum which I personally think shouldn't be allowed as a waiter whilst serving. The food was no where near as nice as the... More
