We were stuck on Saturday for eating in the evening and decided on Malabar. The moment I opened the menu I realised this was a restaurant I should have been told about years ago. There was such variety that I decided to avoid confusing myself I would choose their special which involved chicken tikka, duck tikka, king prawns, lamb, and... More

Went to Malabar on a Saturday night with my family and was excited after all the reviews I'd read. But we walked into an extremely cramped restaurant with extremely rude staff. When we asked to be moved to a table that allowed more manoeuvre we were rudely declined and were instead told that if we moved our phones off the... More

My husband and I visited Malabar on Sunday 22nd of June . The restaurant was relatively quiet but only to be expected as it was a warm evening . We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to out table where our wine which we had brought with us was opened and served.the menu is very comprehensive giving us... More

Ok, fantasticly isn't a word but it really was. The usual 45 minutes wait for the driver to ring the bell and there it was superbly good food cooked to perfection. Really pleased and we had a great meal. Thanks very much Malabar Aldridge.

Well this visit to Malabars was exceptional. The waiters were attentive to your needs and happy to provide help with the menu. What made it exceptional was the food, simply glorious, mouthfuls of savory spicy Indian/Bangladeshi gastronomy. The Malabar House Special and Chicken Kari are of particular note. Excellent service and exceptional food.

The Malabar is an excellent restaurant in Aldridge town centre, it is very popular particularly at the weekend. We have eaten midweek and weekends, you just have to be a little more patient at the weekend. Always excellent food - would recommend

Full of tasty spices with proper meat that's not plied with water our two curries were so nice. Not massive portions and the naan breads and the chapatis were so soft and fresh. The Malabar is the only Indian in Aldridge where I've never had any fat in the lamb pieces. Every chunk is mint.

Having just moved into the area, we thought we'd try malabar. Booked for four on a Saturday evening, very busy when we arrived, short wait but nothing too long. Many waiting for takeaways or tables and waiting/bar area is too small. Taken to a table and offered menu, which has a huge choice, too big really. Only gripe is that... More

The food at the Malabar is always great and the service attentive. The food is flavourful rather than purely relying on spice - it's nice to be able to have both!! They do look after regular customers (which I was whilst I was living in Walsall), throwing in free poppadoms and chutneys to takeaway orders quite happily. I always make... More
