Me and my partner order a takeaway from this restaurant the other night. After ordering 2 meals with a naan bread and starter it came up to £30 in total. We had to call the restaurant to check that the price was correct that the delivery guy was telling us. I was ever so shocked as normally we order from... More

tasteless food seems pre prepared and microwaved. Suggest aimed at lower end of the market where anything with a little spice thrown in is termed a curry.

Visited restaurant a couple of years ago and as I remember everything was fine with our meals. Returned in Jan 2015, ordered a chicken tikka pathia. When it arrived my partner first said "is that it?!" I had four pieces of chicken tikka. I was out with family and friends and didn't want to cause any fuss so I tucked... More

This is the third time we have eaten here on a Christmas day and it just gets better and better. The food is second to none and the staff are always pleasant and helpful

Yet again we have had perfectly flavoured food made for us by chefs who take things to another level. When we have takeaways we always have a Malabar and will never go anywhere else.

By far, this is one of the best Indian restaurants I have eaten at. The food is consistently of a high standard - no unpleasant variations or 'bad days. Try anything and everything on the menu - or ask the friendly staff to vary it a little if it suits you. If only everywhere had a Malabar.

A group of 6 went for a meal. Great atmosphere in a full restaurant and although it was extremely busy there were plenty of staff who were all very attentive. We all had different dishes and everyone said it was one of the best curries that they had ever eaten. Thoroughly recommend.

Hadn't been to the malabar for a couple of years, but returned for a friends birthday, so glad I did. Nothing was too much trouble even though it was very very busy! If you like seafood try the monkfish special..absolutely amazing and although dearer than most of the mains there is not need for rice or naan as this is... More

A fantastic place regardless of the occasion. Food is fresh, tasty and full of flavour. Weather you want a masala, korma, ceylon, vinderloo ect. You have come to the right place. Staff always remember returning customers such as myself and my family.

For the best curry in Aldridge, look no further, great tasting food, with great friendly service, clean and modern, nothing is too much trouble for the staff, if you like prawns then try the king prawn delacacy, amazing dish, be sure to book before you go though....
