We randomly discovered this place when our local pub was closed for a refurb and couldn't be happier! The jerk chicken was amazing! The meat was so juicy and full of flavour and was accompanied by some great rice and peas...don't forget the pink sangria! To find out it also does tapas in the evening makes me more excited and... Great food and something different to be offered for the local area. Reminds me of a restaurant in Sydney.

Rodells is the best place in town by far. The food is exceptional and the staff are amazing. I've been coming here for over a year now and I'm never disappointed! Highly recommended.

The fact that Mario, the owner of this terrible restaurant, describes himself on the Rodells website as "chef extraordinaire" is a reflection of how arrogant and deluded this man is. We visited the restaurant as a group of 12 on a Saturday night. We waited 45 minutes to be seated and then a further 30 minutes for our order to... More

We were visiting a friend in Watford and she suggested to go and eat at this place. She said that quite a few people had recommended it and she wanted to try it. And what a little gem this place turned out to be! I had the Asturian fabada, the duck & pork pot stickers and the Cuban piccadillo. My... More

Living just round the corner from Rodells we have always found the staff and owner very helpful the food can be a bit overpriced and small helping but the menu constantly changing sells some unusual beers and good choose of wine You can book upstairs for a party.

Popped in here today for the first time for some lunch with a colleague. Had no idea what to expect or what type of food served but had often passed the restuarant at night and thought how welcoming it looked. I had a beautiful morrican lamb tagine, meat melted in mouth, was tender and nice big chunks of it too. The... More

Watford is probably not the place you would expect to find this style of restaurant, however it is Watford's gain that it is here. Not somewhere you get 5 star service or pristine tablecloths or decoration, but a venue where you get good, friendly service, good food and a homely feel. Good but some slightly unusual Tapas, the Mac & Cheese... More

I had previously visited this restaurant and had a good night. This time, however, was terrible and we will not be returning. We fed back to the various waiters / waitresses our dislike of 2 dishes, ( 1 was cold, the other bore no resemblance to the description of the dish on the menu), and then queried an item on... More
