Description: Watfords Saffron is a popular and sophisticated Indian restaurant...
Watfords Saffron is a popular and sophisticated Indian restaurant serving unusual regional dishes alongside classic curries and just a ten minute walk from the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio Tour. The traditional interior, with crisp white tablecloths, dark wooden chairs and white walls decorated with Indian wooden carvings and artworks, is busy with couples and groups in the evenings and increasingly with enthusiastic sightseers keenly dissecting their day spent on the pavements of Hogsmeade. Saffrons menu is a lengthy selection of fine Indian classics from throughout the countrys many and varied culinary regions. Delicately put together by the kitchens skilful team, dishes are distinctive and authentic, spiced the spices ground and mixed freshly each day - and cooked according to tradition whether originating from the sun drenched shores of Goa or from the southern fringes of Bangladesh.

What a Great little resturant. We just managed to sneak in without a booking ahead of the rush. Lovely food, well served by attentive staff in small but atmospheric resturant and to top it all. Great value to. We'll be back.

Decided to visit after seeing the many positive reviews and high trip advisor rating. A warm welcome on entry. A large choice on the menu showed all the usual favourites plus some specials less familiar. Food was excellent, tasty, good portions and spiced perfectly. Service was friendly and efficient. Great value for money. This is the best of the 6... More

A brilliant atmosphere with a personal touch to professional establishment. I would highly recommend, particularly something on the spicy side.

The rating of Saffron as very good is due to the food as the service was hit and miss to say the least. The staff seemed more concerned with the Takeaway orders rather than serving us, even though there was only 1 other table in the restaurant occupied. Saffron is a small restaurant and the ambience is not great when... More

First ever visit to Watford. We ate here on saturday evenibg circa 930pm, the restaurant was fairly busy. I had read the reviews before visiting. Not knowing Watford at all, and, staying at Croxley Green this little restaurant took some finding, and,I was just thankful we had sat nav. This place is situated about 2/3 miles from Watford Town Centre,in the Leavesden area... More

Came to Watford for Harry Potter tour, found this Indian restaraunt that gives discount if you have been to Harry Potter studio tour. Small restaraunt on a high street but absolutely fantastic! Amazing service with friendly and chatty staff that make you feel comfortable and welcome! Food was absolutely divine and really good portions! I'm from the north and was... More

My hubby and I ended up in Watford one Sunday night (about 7 pm) and found ourselves absolutely starving. We were craving Indian so decided on this place based on all of the great trip advisor reviews. When we got there (and throughout the meal) the place was absolutely empty apart from a few takeaway orders. The menu was typical... More

This is like private dining, a small restaurant that is big on quality. Food selection is great to suit all tastes, the food is delicious both if you are dining in or taking home. As a family we have become regulars and before arriving we all discuss what we are going to eat!
