Pretty but rather odd locstion!

The Wharf is a bit of a hidden gem! A really nice pub, with a beautiful lakeside setting - but located slap bang in the middle of the very large Crossway's Buisness Park in view of the QE Bridge in Dartford – completely surrounded by modern office blocks, unless you are local, most people don't... read more

What a dump, reminded me of what Butlins is, a cheap place for cheap holidays for people with noisy kids Booming noise and what some call music, and the food is poor

A fairly nice place to visit as it's by a lake. We visited The Wharf last night (15/4/15) and found it a little busy but still lots of empty tables, ie, they weren’t running at full capacity. In short this is about really poor service. Why does the food take so long to arrive?!! We ordered our food at 19.37... More

Upon arrival at the Wharf we went down to the carvery for Sunday lunch, we were told that there was no room and the only option was to keep going down to check if a table had freed up. This system instantly seemed odd, as we were unable to leave a name and be next on the list, meaning a... More

I visited this restaurant last Sunday and was very happy with the food everything was cooked fresh and the vegetables were not frozen like you would usually get in a pub roast. I had a roast pepper and tomato soup for starters and the carvery for maincourse all of which were very satisfying indeed. I would highly recommend this pub... More

I went to The Wharf yesterday for the Sunday carvery, with my husband and 2 young children. The staff were really pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. The young lady who was our waitress was really friendly, and considerate to the needs of our children, so they were settled and happy (this certainly isn't the case in many other... More

Its seems a just a pub/restaurant set in a out of town business park. Food looks like is all pre package with no real home made menu. Pub as a fairly large car but most of it seems rented out to local business. On my recent visit the car park was poorly lit. Staff were fairly friendly but seemed to... More

Looking forward to eating here again soon. Celebration with a friend. So guaranteed to enjoy the evening, Spacious but cosy areas. Not quite the weather for eating outside, but for the summer, nice easy atmosphere sitting and sharing with friends etc. Especially nice around the lake. We had the fish and chips last time, Not a huge menu but enough... More
