friendly staff

A great welcome from the staff and great service food was not exceptional but the usual pub food. Carvers 3 meat roast unfortunately the beef was overcooked although the other 2 meats were good. The Belgium waffle was also overcooked obviously by microwave. As bed crispy in the middle. The Wharf... read more

Very nice evening meal from a menu that has some different things to standard pub fare, but the staff had no personality and not one of them asked whether we had enjoyed our meal.

Went here last week in the evening. Firstly was surprised given its location how empty it was? The food was poor quality for most of our group. I had chicken skewers and roasted pineapple but it was not pleasant. The Eton mess that two of our group ordered were very poor, little fruit, and what appeared to be squinty cream!... More

Over looking the man made lake on the business park this mock tudor property caters for all tastes. Seats outside are clean with a balance between shaded and non shared areas. Food is tasty, hot and of classic British Fayre. Recommend Chefs meals on right hand side of menu.

We had to stay at the Dartford Hilton for the night and did not fancy paying there bar prices so walked to the Wharf. The welcome was good and we had a bar meal which was very nice and reasonably priced.

We were looking for somewhere to eat on our way back from Cambridge. The Wharf is one of Shepherd Neame's Outlets and we decided to try there. Unusual location, very close to the Dartford Crossing, but quiet and with a lovely outlook over a lake. We sat inside as it was windy and raining outside. Staff were friendly and helpful,... More

I went to The Wharf with friends for some drinks only to find a mouse run from under our table! Into some curtains, after notifying staff I was horrified to find a very unconcerned attitude towards its presence in the eating area with staff saying they've seen it before, that it may have run up the curtains and that after... What a dump, reminded me of what Butlins is, a cheap place for cheap holidays for people with noisy kids Booming noise and what some call music, and the food is poor

The Wharf is a bit of a hidden gem! A really nice pub, with a beautiful lakeside setting - but located slap bang in the middle of the very large Crossway's Buisness Park in view of the QE Bridge in Dartford – completely surrounded by modern office blocks, unless you are local, most people don't even know it exists! It's... More
