It has to be said that the atmosphere in the Victory Bar is not the best. It is very noisy and often full of mums with screaming children. But the fish finger butty made it all worthwhile. A warm bap filled with delicious fish fingers, home made tartare sauce and a sprinkling of crisps on the side. When we went... More

We had a drink here Friday and Saturday evening. It has tv's showing sky sports. Good choice of drinks. They do food too although we did not try it ourselves. It is a pub menu, burgers, chips, wraps etc. It is within the hotel and ideal to go whilst staying at Village Inn. Free WiFi.

Ordered two bbq chicken flat breads which came out with no bbq chicken. There was 3 rounds of small pepperoni slices cut in half on each flat bread, half a small sliced mushroom at most and the thinnest slice of red onion I've ever seen. We complained. We were then brought out a bowl of chicken with some bbq sauce... More

It's a pub in a fairly large hotel. Food isn't great and is overpriced. As a member of the gym in the hotel I am supposed to get a discount but unless you've activated your card on a seemingly impossible website you don't receive the benefit. If you are looking for a decent pub meal head elsewhere.

I've never been disappointed with the service or food here. Meal was lovely and good value for money. If you have children they try to help entertain by providing a colouring / activity book and pencils. Waiters have been polite and friendly and if there are any hiccups the staff do their best to rectify.

Sitting in the pub as we speak. I ordered fish & chips. Barely any chips. Tasteless fish. Friend ordered smokey burger. Firstly the order had to be remade as he is allergic to cheese and despite being told this they sent it out with cheese. Then the 2nd burger came out and was rubbery. Totally over priced too! Both meals... More

This place is ok. Food is average but does cost a pretty penny. I would recommend the 15os burger challenge as if you eat it you get it for free.

As my titles states the selection of food on the menus is basic, sandwiches, wraps, burgers etc etc, but for what you get you pay over the top for. Its a shame as the hotel is nice, clean and welcoming, there is a separate restaurant area if you want a proper sit down meal, but for ease the pub serves... More

Very comfortable surroundings, with very good food prepared by the hotel, so good quality and well presented. Staff pleasant and friendly without being over-familiar. Easy place to while away the time.
