Hello. Really cute little cafe with cute cosy furniture and we had a lovely young friendly waitress. However I waS so disappointed when my English breakfast came out and it was 1 tiny sausage, 1 slice of bacon and I poached egg. There were lots of mushrooms if u like mushrooms. It goes without saying that if you order an... More

this is the second time we have come to the living cafe and again it was brilliant! we were served very quickly and the food came within 10 minutes. The homemade chips there are the best I've ever had seasoned with herbs and the sandwiches are also great! I strongly recommend it for a quick lunch and am sure we... More

Looked for a fairly local place to have lunch. Found this on net and viewed on Trip Advisor. Glad we went. Very comfortable, very friendly and home cooked food. Soup and Quiche had, both very nice. Reasonably priced. Makes a lovely change from going to a chain establishment. Would recommend.

Popped in here today for lunch and loved it! The food was great and the service wonderful too. I had some tasty meatballs served with a side of freshly cooked homemade chips. The chips were seasoned with rosemary salt and cooked in their skins. Very delicious. The meatballs were lovely and tender and tasted great. It has an alter ego... More

I wrote a review back in August about how the restaurant had gone down hill after being taken over. I have since returned to see whether things have settled down and the food has improved, I was pleased to find that it had. The new owners appear to have found their feet, service was good, the food was tasty and... More

This was my third visit to this little Cafe, and every time it gets better. Today my husband and I popped in for brunch. We were greeted by a charming young lady, and the service we were given by her was wonderful. True our order did seem like a long time arriving, but it was well worth the wait,as it... More
