I wrote a review back in August about how the restaurant had gone down hill after being taken over. I have since returned to see whether things have settled down and the food has improved, I was pleased to find that it had. The new owners appear to have found their feet, service was good, the food was tasty and... More

I was beginning to despair trawling around the high street of Maidstone trying to find somewhere decent for lunch when I stumbled upon the Living Cafe. So glad I did. What a wonderful little hidden gem this is. Superb bacon and brie sandwich, with top quality bacon, lightly toasted bread and a perfectly sized side-dish of beautiful fluffy fresh chips.... More

This is a cute small cafe with fast friendly service. The food is nice and simple but nothing to write home about. Good value for money

Perfect find for people who like to lunch or brunch! What a warm welcome and even more welcoming was all foods are homemade. Lots to choose from like all day breakfast, sandwiches and hot meals. The café is clean and staff attentive. Very reasonable in price. Homemade jams, muffins etc to purchase to take home if you wish. The other... More
