fantastic food

Delicious and fantastic selection of vegan options. Also had a lovely chat with James about veganism. Will definitely go back when in Maidstone. Even took some cake home, although only one slice made it that far ;)

I've always loved Fortify, with now being it 100% vegan, what more could I so for? The food is delicious and has generous portions, the staff are very friendly and easy to chat with. The setting is adorable and has a great retro feel as all the crockery has a great seventies throw back. It's always very clean and tidy... More

I stumbled upon Fortify Cafe one Saturday afternoon whilst mooching about in Maidstone. I had moved here from the north of England 6 months previously and had been missing my local vegetarian eating relaxing spot. I'm not a vegetarian, but I do appreciate great tasty food, and here the food is great, great, great. It’s incredibly tasty, fresh and really... More

Wonderful food and friendly service. Most difficult thing was trying to decide which of the fantastic food options to try. Will definitely be visiting again.

I went here with my work friend. She is a vegan and I like vegetarian food. I have to say that we were not disappointed. I Was in need of a treat and did not want to cook as going away. I tried the Moroccan bake and it waslovely. Quite spicy and very tasty. The staff are very attentive and... More

The only vegetarian I am aware of in Maidstone, a fantastic feeling from the moment you walk in, done in a 1970`s style, yet homely. The food is amazing especially the soups and stews. Sandwiches are very different from what can be found anywhere else. It does sometimes get very busy but well worth the wait for a table. Also... More

We love this place! Such a breath of fresh air in Maidstone. Quality food, freshly prepared and great if you are visiting with vegetarian friends. We have been back several times since despite not being vege ourselves. Recommend the falafel and tomato, mozarella and pesto panini - much tastier than the one I had from Pret a Manger.
