We stumbled across Camerons a few weeks ago and so glad we did. The idea of choosing a great bottle of Wine to enjoy at a very reasonable price with corkage is a winner. We were paying more in other pubs in Stony for a lesser quality bottle. The food is also excellent. The service is always very good. The... More

I've been a few times now (before and after the fire) and the food has always been lovely. Particularly love the lamb meatball s and banana tartin.

Booked Cameron's as a birthday treat for my boyfriend and thought it would make a nice difference to the usual pub type food. Read the varying reviews but thought we'd give it a go. Bit disappointing as boyfriend found a hair in his meal, we weren't too bothered as we know these things happen and joked at least it wasn't... More

We had lunch here in June and wrote a favourable review but the restaurant had a fire in one of the buildings mid-summer. We went back and had a pleasant lunch under an umbrella on a sunny day in July but from a more limited menu. Hope they get fully-reopened soon.

We were not aware of Cameron's until I saw a voucher on Travelzoo. Upon looking at reviews I purchased two vouchers. We went today and had a lovely meal and will be looking forward to returning not only with our second voucher but other times as well. The menu was not huge but there was enough to choose from. I... I have reviewed Camerons before - it is the only place we go when visiting relatives in the area - but for dinners. This time we had appetites and time to kill on a Sunday lunchtime. Thankfully it was the first Sunday of the month, the only Sundays they open these days, for lunch with live jazz. We were able... More

We went for lunch at Cameron's and fined from the a la carte menu. The food was excellent. The starters were a little small, but it turned out to be a good thing as the mains were plenty big enough and allowed us to clear our plates. Really looking forward to our next visit. The burger side of the restaurant... More

We visited for lunch purely as part of a day out to somewhere in the local area that we'd not been to before. We both have a discerning pallet and have eaten at some of the top restaurants in the country and have to say that the food is right up there. The flavours on the plate are superb and... More

I have eaten in Cameron's on many occasions and defy anyone who could give a bad review to the food. There is a mixture of traditional English fused with just about everything else. The pairings with the wine cellar is excellent, BUT.. The restaurant lacks in ambience and style. The tables and chairs do not match the food offerings and... More
