This popular restaurant has been serving Indian food to the residents of Milton Keynes for nearly 10 years, and is one of the Good Curry Guide’s Top 100 restaurants. There’s a banquet menu for only £13.95 per person and an amazing Sunday buffet, where children under 12 eat for £4.50. Start with sizzling kebabs, spiked with fresh chillies and ginger, or chicken chatt (diced chicken coated with chatt massala and served with finely chopped cucumber served on puffy bread). Look out for the chef’s specials, which include lamb lahroi (spicy Bombay-style marinated strips of lamb) and machli bhuna (fresh whole fish cooked with onions and capsicum in a well-flavoured sauce). Ring the carb changes with chilli and coriander naan or check out the pulao of the day. Among the ice-creams and sorbets is kulfi, the delicious Indian ice-cream which at Rajdhani comes in pistachio and mango flavours.

Oke-ish...

I visited this restaurant which is located inside the Food Centre on a Monday evening. It offered a buffet and it was very busy. I noticed that most people went for the buffet, but I decided to go with à la carte based on previous reviews. I ordered some poppadom and chicken pakora as starter... read more

We are frequent guests and it is definitely our favourite Indian restaurant. The staff are delightful and the food is superb. It is an attractive restaurant with a good atmosphere. Good value for money.

Had a groupon deal. We have never used this restaurant before and will never use it again! Food was not good and tasteless. Nan bread was hard underneath and served on a plate with numerous chips around it. Not at all impressed with the 10% service charge which was charged on not only the rice, nan bread n drinks but... Disappointed overall. We had a lovely meal but the compulsory (discretionary) 10% service charge has meant that we would never return. It should be up to us how much we should tip and there was no way that we could do this when the bill was presented. Lovely food but will never be returning as a result. We would have... More

Food is nice but not the biggest choice. CHECK drink prices before ordering.. £3.40 for large Coke is excessive especially as obviously from 1or2 litre plastic bottle won't go back again very disappointing

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. The buffet is good value and there is plenty of choice. They offered 2 chicken, 1 lamb and 1 paneer main dishes,3 or 4 vegetable dishes plus rice and nan breads. The chicken tikka masala and lamb dansak were very tasty but the lamb dansak was not as spicy as I would have expected. I... More

We ordered Lamb Chops, which came to our table under 5 minutes and the chicken curry took less than 10 minutes. The taste wasn't great but my concern is that these guys don't cook fresh, which can be a very harmful diet with all the oil and spices.

Quiet Wednesday night in Milton Keynes - found this restaurant and the food was top drawer......service was also good - nothing was too much trouble for them.

Ate here as a large party, fully expecting a little slow or confused service, however everything was great. Its a pleasant restaurant with a good atmosphere, fast professional service with a smile, even better food and drink, would love to visit again!
