Special Food, Amazing Venue

Been using this restaurant for a few years after living locally. The food in-particular the Thali selections are amazing. Its very modern Indian food served in a great venue. The building itself is similar to an old church

Such an amazing and quirky venue! It was just round the corner from where we were staying for silverstone weekend, we popped down for dinner tonight. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was gorgeous, so good and just the right amount that you don't feel stuffed. We had 2 poppadoms, then starters we had tandoori chicken and samosas... More

This Indian restaurant is set in a former church, set in a beautiful garden off the high Street. The experience saying here is wonderful - the high ceilings and paintings... As for the food, we took a platter and veg dish to share and it was varied and delicious. Very too service too. Will ne back!

We have eaten here several times and it is certainly the best Indian food we know of ! My wife's least favourite meat is lamb, but she always orders it because it is SO GOOD. Perfectly tender and beautifully presented. Thank You!

Went yesterday to their Dine In The Dark experience. The venue is a spectacular 17th Century Grade II listed chapel. I compared it to Milton Keynes version of the sistine chapel. The food was great from the set menu, the ambience was good. I had never done blindfolded eating before but it was a great experience trying to guess which... More

Wow, wow, wow. Was taken for a business lunch here after work and the place was amazing. The food and staff were five star and all this happened in such a wonderful building in spectacular grounds in a lovely village. Couldn't get better than that, if you are reading to consider going, then go! Verdict: I will go again, then... More

Visiting family near MK, we went for a leisurely Sunday buffet lunch. The restaurant is in a converted monastery, so fantastic surroundings (if a little dark inside) The buffet offer was extensive and well laid out and included starters and dessert within the c£15 price per head. None of us were veggies, but there were enough meat-free dishes, and if... More

What's not to like! Absolutely my favourite indian bar none. Located in an old church in stony stratford it has great presence huge vaulted ceilings and frescos hand painted on the walls. It's imposing and airy ( but can be a little cold in the winter) , Food is totally amazing , a great varied menu with the usual indian... More

I don't know how many times I have visited Calcuttas now, but it it's a lot. The reason why is simple... Their food is incredible! To put this into context, I don't live nearby. It is a good 30 mins plus for us to get to Stony Stratford and whilst it is a lovely little town, Calcuttas is the reason... More
