I moved here about 15 months ago and was initially recommended the Jalori as the best Indian in the vicinity. I tried it a couple of times but found the tastes incredibly bland. I also find it insulting when I am told that my food will take 30 minutes and it takes 60 - leaving me waiting in a tiny... More

Called in on bank holiday Monday with no table booked. Greeted at the door and shown to a table straight away. Food and service was excellent as always.

My wife and I made a last minute decision to eat out, so we decided to visit Jalori for a Sunday Buffet. The selection of food was excellant, well cooked and well presented. This together with the selection of salads gave excellant value for money. The staff were extremely attentive, but not overpowering. The owner, Mr Abdul was on hand... More

We went for the Sunday lunch buffet. The quality of the food was as good as I've had anywhere, and the choice was good as well. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the staff were discreetly attentive which I personally prefer. I'd certainly go back.

This is my third review of The Jalori. The first scored it an excellent 5/5. At the time - in our opinion - it was the best Indian restaurant we had tried in MK for both food and service. By the time of the second review, something was going wrong. As many other reviewers have pointed out, service standards had... More

Had a take away from here, food was fine, and portions a good size. Can't say it was exceptional, but it was not bad either.

Atmosphere was lacking if you were not a local, we found the service of the waiters was unhelpful and child unfriendly, couldn't actually wait to leave. On top of that I will be checking my credit card bill carefully as my first transaction was void!! Maybe if we had pulled up in our merc cls 350 outside we would have... More

Tried this restaurant on the offchance whilst in area. Only two other customers seated, although a few people came in for the take-away section. I tried the Duckling Elachi, which was very tasty, good pilau rice and chapati. All were of a good quality and, if I lived in the area, would not hesitate to return. Staff were attentive, but... I believe they have an award for being in the top 500 Indian restaurants in the UK. For me, they should be in the top 100. I love indian food and had my fair-share of it. Not only does this place deliver on service but the food is amazing. I would not hesitate to pay double what they charge for... More

First time here for over a year, this restaurant has gone downward. Large amount of couldn't really care attitude from the staff. Manager/owner needs to get a Ramsey style grip. There were a handful of people in the restaurant so prompt service should be easy - seriously considered phoning take away as these Customers appear to get a prompt service.... More
