I visited Brasserie Blanc today for a quick meal with an old friend. As we were dining on Christmas Eve, I wasn't expecting to sit down straight away or have access to a 'normal' à la carte menu, but on both counts I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered, in the end, from the Christmas menu, and I received well-presented food... More

Having seen Raymond banging on about attention to detail more often than I care to remember, I thought I'd see if the proof id the pudding was in the eating... Service was very slow while the food was mediocre @ best. (Jamie's Italian, Just 10 minutes away was far less pretentious with better than half-decent food. Never thought I'd be... More

It was my partners 30th birthday, we arrived to a window seat, lit candle light, hearts and diamonds scattered on the table. The service was outstanding the waitress was very helpful, informative and professional. We ate a 3 course meal from the main menu, all the food was delicious absolutely faultless! We couldn't have celebrated any better it was fabulous

My husband and I visit this Restaurant at least once a month and as yet have never had a bad meal who had to wait,. The service is excellent and the food is very good also. The house wine is good and reasonably priced. For my birthday in October I asked for a quiet corner as my colleagues from work... More

Where to start....... extremely slow & poor service - one of our waitresses was sulky the other cheeky. They managed to spill wine over one of our coats and a bag. We lost count of the number of items they didn't have from the menu. All courses took an extraordinary amount of time, I felt I'd physically aged in the... More

Took my wife here for a pre Christmas treat. Table for two at 18:30 . The Resteraunt was quite busy, about 3/4 full. So a pleasant atmosphere. We had the set 3 course Christmas menu. 27:50 I had parsnip soup, Turkey dinner and a very taiste pear and caramel pudding, washed down with a bottle of blanc de blanc sparkling... More

We've been going to this restaurant on and off for years when visiting our daughter and were last there on the 7th December. It was a Sunday evening, not really busy but the service was awful. Took about three attempts to get jug of hot water to warm baby milk. Service was generally slow and food not up to usual... More

I was expected to be wowed by this restaurant due to the name behind it... We had our works Christmas lunch here and the food was distinctly average. The starter didn't taste of anything and came with two small hard pieces of toast. The Christmas lunch looked like it had been thrown on the plate and again didn't taste amazing.The... More

Terrific dinner on Saturday night with first class service and wonderful tasting food. Not rushed and in a very pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant was full and we were lucky to get seated as we left booking until the last minute. Very pleasant staff and a feeling that as a customer you are most welcome. We chose the Christmas fixed price... More
