We have had a wonderful refurbishment and our little bit of France in Milton Keynes is more stylish and more welcoming than ever. We are open for breakfast daily - sit at our 'kitchen table' with friends, our cafe area & read the papers or in the main brasserie for a business breakfast bright and early. Lunches and dinners as ever feature our freshly cooked, seasonal dishes and we also have our monthly changing set menu with 2 courses from £11.95. We have improved our bar area for diners and non-diners and now have outside seating on our newly decked area for the sunny summer days to come! Dinner with old friends

On a visit to see friends, I was taken here for dinner. The restaurant was large and had a welcoming atmosphere. Service throughout was first rate. I had the cheese soufflé as a starter and it was very good. This was followed by the main course of pork belly. The food was nicely presented and the... read more

I come here all the time and to be honest the food has never been bad! The service is great and the food is delicious!! The cheese soufflé starter is lovely and so are the snails!! Just for an easy supper I would always order the steak and chips and you can never go wrong with that! But there salmon... More

Went for mid-week lunch. Atmosphere was relaxed. Surroundings sophisticated. Good menu and daily specials. It wasn't too busy so service was quick - but not too quick. We share the potted crab to start which was lovely. Then tried beef tomato stuffed with crayfish and prawns - again lovely and the confit duck leg which was rich and again lovely.... More

We keep this in reserve for special occasions when we are in MK and they have never failed to disappoint. This was an anniversary meal so we pushed the boat out a bit but overall I thought it was excellent value for money - £68 per head. They concentrate on doing the simple things very well although cheese soufflé may... More

I went to the restaurant yesterday and have been a couple of times in the past, i was really impressed this time! excellent service with a smile and the food was great - i highly recommend the Sunday roast they offer - pricier than your average Sunday pub roast but you pay for what you get and the quality of... Nice and relaxed atmosphere, waiting staff were attentive and helpful. Very nice wine list to chose from. Good food, cooked fresh to order. Good all round experience, would certainly recommend.

I had a great night in this restaurant with some close friends. The food was delicious, the decor was nice and the staff were very attentive - keeping the drinks flowing and checking we were happy with each course. I can recommend the beetroot starter and the king scollop main. We were a table of 6, with each person trying... More

I treat myself to a different restaurant on a day off each week, sometimes super, sometimes just normal. I'd not tried Blanc's before so decided to give it a go. Service was attentive and polite, seated quickly and brought the menu and advised if the specials. I drove there so just stuck to water to drink and a coffee to... More

Dined here and had the squid and chorizo salad followed by the pork belly. The latter was absolutely delicious and I will definitely return just to have that. The squid and chorizo was beautifully presented but woefully small - two pieces of squid and two slices of chorizo. Perhaps it was just a bad choice. We will see when I... More

My wife and I ate here today and as we hadn't been for a few months, noticed new decor and a new menu. We ate from the a la carte menu - potted crab to start for me and a beetroot salad for my wife. Both were excellent. For main course we both chose the lamb special. Braised shoulder had... More
