We turned up unbooked as I didn't realise how popular it was. By special lucky chance they fitted us in. What an amazing experience for my taste buds! We had sandwiches and I had the ginger and lemon slice. It was to die for. The service was excellent and friendly. Will definitely be returning thank you

Lovely little tea place with a lovely tea served on lovely quaint china. In fact all just lovely. They make delicious cakes and specialise in one-off flavours so there is always something different from the norm to try out. We are lucky as it is not far from us. Wish they had a garden too but can't have everything!

Had a lovely lunch / afternoon tea in the Parlour Tearoom today with two close friends. Everything was delicious and we couldn't quite finish all our cakes so they kindly wrapped them up for us to take home. Highly recommend booking a table and sampling their delicious cakes. Thank you.

I am a Brit, living in America. I visit the UK twice a year and at my Mums recommendation went to the Parlour Tearoom down the road from where she lives. Oh my goodness . Such yummy home made cakes like mother used to make and sooooo many different ones being made you NEVER get bored. The value for money... More

We decided to have lunch at the tearoom after attending the playgroup held next door, under the impression that this was a child friendly establishment. We hadn't booked but the lady that served us found a table and set up two highchairs. Unfortunately my little boy was a little unsettled during our visit and despite half an hour of trying... More

I was lucky enough to get a place at the Halloween Tea last night and just like the Easter Egg Hunt we were not disappointed. The food, atmosphere, decoration, staff and entertainment are such value for money I will be keeping my eyes peeled for a Christmas event. This is no ordinary tea room if you haven't already been you... More

Yesterday I visited the Parlour Tea Room for my daughters 8th birthday. What a fantastic time we all had. The staff were great and the set up perfect. The girls had a table to themselves and the adults had a table behind a partition which gave them the sense of being grown up on their own. The pink tea was... More

This was my 3rd visit to the Parlour Tearoom and this time I was visiting with my husband and little boy (who is 2). What can I say...the service was fantastic and the staff made a real effort with us and especially with my little boy which I really appreciated...and so did he as he keeps saying he wants to... Had a lovely lunch here with a friend today. Scones were still warm! Plenty of cream and jam. Cakes to die for! Service was excellent and friendly. Would recommend you book in advance.
