Disappointed

We called in for some breakfast just 2 of us, it took over half an hour to arrive despite the place being less than half full. When it arrived the food was awful - cheap sausages and an egg I had to cut a crust off? It cost over £12...no apology for the wait and didn't even ask how our... read more

I'm afraid I visited this cafe a year ago and I'm sorry to say it was awful....we waited an eternity for the food and it was swimming in fat and she'll in the eggs

I have eaten here a few times now, and the quality of the food is second to none as far as a cafe is concerned. The staff are very friendly & accommodating, obviously they take pride in the place. They do a lovely breakfast, not quite your typical greasy spoon stuff. My only criticism, and it may be a little... More

This place is brilliant! The couple who own this place are the most welcoming, friendly and thoughtful people. We ordered a full English breakfast. When I asked for no tomatoes they insist you pick extra of something else you like (NO CHARGE). Plenty of toast to accompany the breakfast and it was just what we needed after a heavy night.... Cosy and very welcoming little cafe, with a homely feel to it. Perfect place for a full breakfast and more. Been a few times and always enjoyed it and felt satisfied on leaving. Would recommend it.

Tried the full English here yesterday, have to say the food was spot on. The staff are very friendly and made you feel more than welcome. The decor is quaint, newspapers available to read and we got a complimentary orange juice after we had eaten. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for your hospitality.
