Great staff brilliant customer service

We have visited here a few times and can honestly I have never really had an issue, the food is lovely and great value for money. The cake-away cakes are lovely although I was dissapointed last time as there wasn't any sparkle cake this time and the closest thing to it was covered in nuts

this has the potential to be a great pub restaurant if only the owners would close it down for a few weeks, redecorate, modernise and generally update the premises.i have never been disappointed with the value for money food, but old dirty tables and chairs are a put off and the wipe over menus always need just that.not be visiting again until the... Popped in for a quick dinner. Didn't mind the kids. Probably great for families who want a meal out after exhausting their children in the "Wacky Warehouse" attached. What we wanted, however, was a nice if inexpensive meal. Certainly got the latter (£16 for two meals and drinks) but unfortunately not the former. The lasagne was burnt round the edges,... More

We have visited twice over the easter weekend.the wacky all weekend has had something on for the children and my kids really enjoyed easter hunt with the character and my youngest loved her facepaint. It is what it says it is. Decent pub grub. Well run place which churns out good VFM food. Lamb steaks particularly good VFM, with 3 decent sized portions which were obviously freshly cooked and tasty for a tenner ( one of the more expensive options). Don't expect white linen tablecloths or a maitre-de asking you which wine you'd like... More

As a family we have been going to the red lion for a couple of years. We have never had a bad meal. Brilliant value for money, excellent customer service. Kids love having a mad hour in the wacky warehouse

We went for a family meal on Wednesday. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated straight away. Our food was served quickly and was lovely. Staff were great with our children and took time to speak to them. Overall, a fantastic enjoyable meal as always.
